If you don’t like the smell of Crisco, this vegetable shortening is ideal. It has no scent. Furthermore, it spreads and handles easily: the texture at room temperature is smoother and less waxy than Crisco.

I grew up on Cisco pie crusts and cookie dough, but I wanted a healthier alternative for my family. This is tasteless and makes a great pie crust.

I spent a fortune on this stuff only to realize that it expired three days after receiving the order. This is unacceptable to send someone a bulk product that expires so soon. And I can't return it of course.

I love Spectrum Palm oil. It is no longer sold in stores near me, so I'm glad I found it on Amazon.I had some years ago that finally started to go rancid on my shelf. I take about 2-3 years to use a container. So this time I've solved the problem by freezing 3/4 of it in baggies. Then when I'm done with the 1/4 I have on the shelf, I can just get out a baggie. It won't go rancid if left in the fridge, but it is a lot stiffer when not at room temperature. I like the way it spreads on bread for making grilled cheese sandwiches. I use it in almost every way others use butter.Great oil!
