Lived up to its name
Amazing! I really struggle with nail polishes, and need to remove after day or two max. This base made my nail polish look perfect for 4 days and I removed it after 6 with only couple tiny scratches! Need to add that this was with other good quality Essie nail polish. It couldn’t hold another cheap essie anywhere near as good, but that polish has bad reviews and seem like nothing can improve its quality. So I would say pair with decent polish for really satisfying result :)

The best base coat I've ever used.
This base coat is great, it doesn't peel or discolour your natural nails and makes your nail polish last so much longer.

This base coat fills in ridges perfectly and gives a nice surface to paint on. Essie is an amazing brand, I recommend.

It's a decent enough base coat, however, I'd not buy again as, despite being twice the price, I much prefer Nails Inc. base coat

Avoid, look elsewhere
I only wear Essie nail polish so i thought to try an Essie base coat, but this is definitely not the one. With other base coats, my nail polish stayed on longer. I hate this base coat.
