It holds sandpaper to make it easier to get the job done. No more cramped fingers trying to get the right angle or put pressure in the right place.One side is angled and the other curved to fit various needs. Easy to add the sandpaper and doest budge once it's on. Though if you need to use various grits, I'd get a couple so you don't have to keep swapping the paper out.

I like this sanding block as it was just what I wanted.This block is solid so if you are sanding a flat surface and you want it to stay flat this is ideal. Foam sanding blocks can introduce slight curves into the item being sanded so it depends what you need.The sand paper is held tightly in place by a clamp secured with a wing nut.I use this item quite often and am very pleased with it and I gives the impression of being very durable.

Easy to use...for years i have used a.wooden block but this is way better as it holds the sandpaper in place.. 10/10
