Was easy to assemble and has functioned as desired for the past 8 months. Is sturdy as I am over 200 lbs.

The entire stool, top to bottom, is very good looking: not too large, not too small. The seat cushion is about 4" thick and stylish. But I must say, the cushion is also very uncomfortable. I feel like I am sliding off it. There is no foot rest but I knew that when I made the purchase. So for now, I'm using an old computer tower, that fits under my desk, and that helps my feet to give me leverage.I put everything together myself, except for the rollers. A neighbor friend of mine installed the rollers. He kind of twisted them around while he pushed hard. Installing rollers on anything, is in great need of improvement.I don't know if the seat has a flaw or not. And I could use some input from others. I only sat on this stool maybe a total of two hours today. And that includes changing my seating position and getting up and down while trying to adjust myself to it. On the bottom circumference, along the outer edges of the cushion, the material appears to sag a little when you sit on it. And it looks sagging when you don't sit on it. Maybe that is a protection to allow the seat to breath. Patience is golden and I hope I can learn to love this stool. We'll see. It fits nicely with the desktop riser, that I also bought here at Amazon.

I purchased this stool for my art room - the stool I had hurt my bottom abs there as no padding. It was so easy to assemble and feels pretty sturdy. I love the range of height adjustment, so I can have it where I need it.

For me, I find this rolls a little too easily for me on vinyl flooring. On carpet, I could not move it much at all. But I have issues with my back and I got this so that I can get into my refrigerator's bottom freezer door without bending over or doing a lot of reaching. For that it works well as long as I am careful to grab the seat and hold it to sit down correctly. I wish there was a way to slow down the wheel movement a bit.This was super easy to put together. Just attach the seat bracket with 4 screws and allen wrench provided, and push the wheels into base. The center piece slides in place with need for attachment. (Take the black cap off the top smaller end which the seat pushes on to).Two other things: 1) There is no wheel lock at all, wish there was one that could easily be foot kicked off&on. 2) The adjustment handle is very hard to locate once you sit down. I just put some duct tape on mine which does not look great, but now I know where the handle is. Another issue with the handle when you raise it up, there is no way to lower it again without sittting on it - hand pressure alone won't move it down at all.

Good seat size, sturdy and goes up and down smoothly. Easy to put together and rolls nicely.I wish it had a break because it rolls very easily on tiles and I almost missed it a couple of times when sitting down.
