Safari Ltd. Wild Safari Prehistoric World Kaprosuchus Figurine - Detailed 8.25" Plastic Model Figure - Fun Educational Play Toy for Boys, Girls & Kids Age 3+

I was very pleased with this figure, probably more so than with the other Prehistoric animal figures I possess. Finding a model for this prehistoric croc was pretty awesome to begin with. When he actually arrived, I was more than happy with what I got. The attention to detail in the sculpt of this figure is fantastic and the paint job is incredible. Each one of the teeth are individually sculpted and painted and the scales are painted with a real naturalistic quality. This figure is bigger than I anticipated him to be and that always makes me happy. Overall, this figure is really durable and great for play. Kids would love this freaky looking croc. But, he's also an awesome find for the serious collector and a real gem for any prehistoric display shelf.

Nice size and great price! Very accurate to the species. It is in an interesting pose and the details in the mouth and the scales are lovely! Coloration is pleasant. A small downside it has is that it's a bit wobbly when standing but It doesn't fall over!

Wow, he's terrifying! I love him! This Wild Safari Kaprosuchus figurine is nice and large. His tail is very long and thick and his mouth is filled with teeth. I think these creatures were pretty fast, their hind legs were quite tall. Being four-legged he stands real well. The Wild Safari Kaprosuchus is very cool!

Pretty decent model, ok paintjob (especially considering it's mass market), gets a little sloppy here and there. I like having it on my desk :)

My three year old boy loves it. We call him water dine dine. I like to challenge his young mind and show him the resemblance to our modern day crocidiles. Fantastic bath toy too!

This toy is decent sized and sturdy with some excellent texturing. Gloss was used on the inside of the mouth to give it a `wet' appearance, but it barley shows. Most Safari toys I have purchased have had shoddy paintwork and that holds true here as well. The body has a nice semi-gloss, but paint was already rubbed off when I received it. The nails were painted a flat grey color and the paint used for the nails was sloppily applied all over it's feet. The green paint used for the eyes was dragged across its face (only on the left side) and the pink used for the inside of the mouth did not cover the entire surface.

I love this toy. The teeth are awesome, the detail is well-done (as usual with the brand) but the color shown in the listing photo is a little deceiving. The one I received is much more of a golden brown than the high-contrast orange shown in the photo.

This model is styled great. With is mouth open it shows off the extra sets of canine teeth he had. He's frightening even at this small size. I would hate to meet him in a dark alley. His coloring is very good and skin texture is realistic.
