fits great
feels a bit bulky but only because the psvita is wide... still a really good product..works well with ps1 games and streaming off of ps3 and ps4..

The right product for certain types of users only
Bottom line up front: Buy this and don't look back if you play games with heavy L2 R2 and L3 R3 use. If you have very light usage of those buttons, I'd opt for a cheaper grip that has much longer handles for comfort.I agonized over this purchase for months. In the end, I'm happy enough. I would do it again, but it took some getting used to.What this product is:It's another enclosure for the PS Vita with a notable exception to all the $10 ones - it has special bumpers/triggers that will contact the correct parts of the touch screen on the back of the Vita, allowing for easy and precise usage of the Dual Shock or Xbox equivalents of: L2, R2, L3 and R3. Remember, a Vita has traditional L and R buttons. It does not have L2 R2 (separate triggers on DS and Xbox) or L3 R3 (pushing down on the L or R analog sticks on the DS or Xbox). However, the Vita has a huge touch screen on the back. Some games and some applications, (for example: Moonlight), use quadrants of the back touch screen and map them to L2/R2/L3/R3. So, why buy this enclosure? Simply, if you are going to be playing a lot of games that require L2/R2/L3/R3 - this is a much more comfortable and repeatable way to hit those quadrants than your fingertips.Pros:-The fit was really good. I didn't have a problem snapping it together around my Vita and it feels very secure. It doesn't encroach on any of the other buttons or the ability to swipe the OLED screen. I don't really anticipate ever taking it off unless to clean or if I ever have to replace the battery or something.-Unlike my other $10 Vita grip (which is more comfortable), this one doesn't require me to remove it to charge the Vita.-I like the feel of the L3/R3 buttons. They seemed like cheap plastic at first (they probably are) but the mechanism is easy - I don't ever feel like I meant to press it and it didn't register.Cons:-It's expensive for plastic.-It's not comfortable to hold. I really wish the handles extended much longer. After a few weeks I got used to it but that first week I was regretting the purchase somewhat because of how uncomfortable it was to hold.-The L2 and R2 buttons seem slightly more finicky. I think it's mostly because you have to depress further. Sometimes it feels like I'm really squeezing them to get them to register.Other thoughts:-I was definitely thrown off by the fact that the L3 R3 is actually a separate plate that you just stick on with an adhesive. For some reason I thought there were going to be strong mechanical connections between that and the rest of the case. There isn't, but it doesn't affect performance or installation.-If you are buying this because you intend to stream games to your Vita, note that you probably need a Wi-Fi access point within 20 feet of where you intend to play. That's because the Vita's wifi adapter is incredibly weak by today's standards (whereas the OLED screen still outrageously beautiful!)Bottom line (again): buy this and don't look back if you play games with heavy L2 R2 and L3 R3 use. If you have very light usage of those buttons, I'd opt for a cheaper grip that has much longer handles for comfort.

Awesome 👌
Honestly a must have. Unless youre playing little big planet or a game that SPECIFICALLY uses the whole back touch pad this is a must have. Decent build quality definitely worth it. Especially since it is basically the only grip like this you can get. Would recommend highly.

I love it, minor issue with pin and exposed springs
I just want to say, i absolutely love this thing. It feels good and my hand likes the knob like grips. Havn't gotten sweaty yet but plastic on backside could use minor grip improvement im sure. If it drops, i feel 100x better about it. All in all very happy, but that additional rear-touch pad with 2 buttons, apparently the left button's pin is loose or something, not sure if you can tell its at a slant, when not pressed and fixes upright like the right button when pressed... However it doesnt seem to bother at all, there is a screwhole port to it tho, so i think this may have been thought out, cause i can atleast attempt to replace the pin later myself.updated - i've also noticed that the 4 buttons are primarily useless, but i can eventually customize it more i'm sure, however the springs themselves are all exposed and visible, and debris can easily get to all 4 inner button springs. for that reason alone, i have deducted a star.

Almost useless
Product arrived broken, which is no surprise as it's a very flimsy and thing plastic case that I'm surprised didn't break even more as I was putting it on my Vita. Also the L2/R2 triggers don't even do anything. I wouldn't buy this. The only plus to this product is it's comfortable to hold.

Works.
You need to push down fairly hard to get the bottom to click in place. Works fine once you install it.Vita is a fun piece of hardware now that I have it. Loving playing a lot of the games I grew up on. This case makes it even easier to do.

A Must have for Vita!
If you have a vita 1000 this definitely worth the $20. It allows me to stream video games to my vita and has significantly increased my Vita Usage. Just make sure the games you are streaming have the back touch (like Witcher 3 ) and not the front touch mapping (like God of War). It is specially amazing to use this with moonlight!
