Amazon Basics Cat Scratching Post, 15.75 x 15.75 x 24.21 Inch, Beige

Really love this scratching post! It is inexpensive, very easy to assemble, and sturdy enough for my six-month-old kitten to jump all over. She took to it instantly and saved my furniture for later!I bought the post in beige, and it looks much more stylish and modern in my home than other scratching posts I've found. The colors match well with bamboo, birch, or perhaps even light teak furniture.My only complaint is that I wish the sisal-covered post were one piece instead of two. I imagine they split it in half to save on shipping costs, though; in that sense, you get what you pay for. Even so, I'd give it five stars, because you won't find a scratching post this attractive for under $20 anywhere.

Every cat is different, please keep this in mind when reading this and other reviews.I've had this scratching post for over a year now and it's still going strong. My cat loves this post and in the beginning he liked the little ball too. It's satisfied him enough to keep him from scratching my furniture so because of that this thing gets an A++.It looks Nice as well. Simple and clean. Can't recommend enough. Keep in mind any scratching post will wear out quicker if there are multiple cats using it, and their scratching style. I only have one cat who is not a super aggressive scratcher.

Stylish, easy to assemble, and worth the money. The only negative is that the ball toy tore off in the first ten minutes! I have a seven pound kitten and it's pretty durable, just wish the toy lasted longer or came with a replacement.

The media could not be loaded. Not sure about some of the lower star reviews. I’ve had no issues with this post, my kitten loves climbing and scratching all over it. If you take the time to ensure you don’t cross thread the bolts while assembling (the bolts are cheaper metal), it is actually quite a sturdy piece that sits completely vertical. I clip my cats nails weekly so I would expect it to last for a long time, the sisal is pretty tough. The base is a little slippery so it took some getting used to, but now she stretches around it or jumps right over it for the most part. It looks much nicer than some random cardboard tube and plywood covered in carpet scraps like most others I was looking at on amazon. I would recommend this post, it’s a bargain for the price in my opinion.

Great product ,easy to assemble and the rope hasn't even started to fray after three months of heavy use,We have to large male cats that use the post several times a day.I recommend this product highly.

My cat has a tendency to scratch towards the top, so I like the design of this with a large round base so that it doesn't tip over on top of him. He doesn't care about the jute ball at the top, but that's just my cat who's too smart for his own good. Overall, I like the color and design because it fits with my home decor. It was really easy to put together.

Standard run of mill scratcher, but taller than most, and has a larger base for stability. Not our cat's favorite because it's just a scratching post w/o bells and whistles. But it is important and in an area where the cat can cause damage if a scratcher isn't there. Better quality and better design than most scratchers and I'd buy it again.
