Thick, sweet, plentiful
I have fond memories of Pannenkoeken which I'd enjoyed several times in Amsterdam.Recalling the stroop which was rolled up or spread on top of thin pancakes I gave in to my nostalgia & whim. I am sure this is quite authentic, if not exactly what I imagined/recalled. It is very dark and thick, pungent. I've tried it on pancakes and as fruit dip now, and hardly touched the first of two tubs. So, it seems a good value, and taste of a Dutch classic. It stores at room temp and has a plastic lid.Arrived intact, no issues. Expecting it will last a long time in the pantry, as a very occasional treat.

Delicious
I wish I had been able to order the Sirop de Liege to make a few boulets sauce lapin..., but nope so I bought this Stroop...even if it is not the same...I hope the purists will forgive me...

Wonderful taste brought back memories from childhood
This product is made about 5 kilometers from where I was born 78 years ago and still tastes the same from when I lived there! A wonderful re-discovery. Clearly a company that values consistency in the quality of their product.

Amazing
Was pleasantly surprised to receive 2 jars, was willing to pay the $13 for 1. Flavor is amazing, pure Dutch nostalgia!

A real “Dutch Treat”
This is called “apple spread”, but it is very tart and has the consistency of thick molasses. I used to eat this as a kid along with other Dutch goodies, it’s pretty close to how I remember it.

tastes ok but too much concentrated sugar beet juice Ingredients
Taste is good, but too much of the ingredient is concentrated sugar beet juice for me to buy it again. They don't advertise that.
