A must have for any enthusiast.
It is a Yoda sized saber after all. This didn't occur to me when deciding between Luke's version and this one. I can't compliment enough that they put some decent engineering into such a low price point. It's not a third party saber by any means as you can spend hundreds on those, but for what it is at a fifth of the price of the aluminum version sold for $150, this one takes the cake. It has some kind of drag sensor effect for lock up, varying sounds that are loud enough, but not stellar, flash on clash, and decent construction, with string blade illumination. Compared to the pricier commercial version, this little saber got me hooked instantly on light-sabers. I bought the aluminum version at GameStop and luckily was allowed to take it back the same day. It didn't have any swing gestures to speak of, the speaker was a third of the volume of this little yoda version. It lacked flash on clash, or lock up, or pretty much anything short of being a weighted glow stick. Definitely pleased with this purchase. It's around 3 + shorter than Luke's version, i'd say. I will add that these saber blades are colored plastic, not clear with colored LED.

Elegant Weapon, From a More Civilized Age!
This product is just beautiful! I got it two days ago, haven't let it out of my sight since! Lightsaber isn't nearly as thick as a hasbro one! For starters the lights inside flickers and start from the bottom and goes all the way up slowly! The light is very bright and beautiful! Hilt has rubber on it so that it's harder to drop and the removable blade is the hardest plastic ever!! To test durability I hit it on my marble coffee table, not on scratch or dent! Disney has made me proud and have the best lightsaber line out there! Definitely worth the price!!Includes:Plastic belt clipRemovable BladeHiltThe belt clip is amazing for carrying the lightsaber around! Just take the blade out of the hilt and put the clip on your belt! The removable blade just slides in and locks!

Great light sabre for your Jedi
Exactly what I wanted. Had a 70th birthday party for my brother and he became a Jedi Knight. We gave him his own light sabre (my sisters and I already had one) and robe. He loved it. The price was right, no assembly, and you hear the sound of the sabre starting up and shutting off. It was a hit!

Great item (Green light saber)
I use this as showpiece, not a weapon. It lights up great and has two different sound settings: (1) saber open and close, and (2) combat sounds. Realistic. Makes a great display or for use as a costume accessory.

Our son LOVES it!
Disney has finally made a great light saber for the price! Our 4 year old son has not put this light saber down (except for bed lol) since he got it for Christmas. Great sounds and tons of fun...the only thing I wish it would do was retract back into the handle, but other than that it is awesome! Thank you for the hours and hours of fun!

Perfect Value for Kids
This is good value for a non-collapsible design for kids. Sturdy enough to play fight with, although hitting solid objects and the ground will eventually do damage.

Close but no Lightsaber cigar!
This item was not exactly what I was looking for but not so disappointing as I needed to send it back; after all it is a "toy" .... The saber is made of lesser expensive materials than the "original' Hasbros that came out after SW I,II,and III and use 3 AA batteries. This one uses 3 AAA batteries. It does have all the appropriate whooshes and crackles to entertain a pre-tween for months and would be a nice surprise gift. But as a DISPLAY item along with the original Darth Vader (red), Maul (2 reds), and Obi-wan (blue) it missed the starship by more than a few parsecs ....Long story short: Worth the money if you've never held the originals. But I would strongly suggest going to HalloweenCostumes.com and their accessories section for a real treat .... if they're not sold out.

best lightsaber toy out there for the money
best lightsaber toy out there for the money, so much goddam fun to play with when it's dark out, they glow spectacularly and the sounds make it a lot of fun, not to mention we've smacked them way too hard against each other and they still work good as new!??
