Could not be programmed to Venza
I got 2 keys, one of them was dead on arrival - the light would not come on when buttons were pressed.I had the keys cut, could program the 1 that had power to unlock and lock the doors but it was not possible to have the key programmed to the car to actually start the car. So after a lot of hassle on these keys, I can't start the car with the key. These are a rip-off, I do not recommend.

Worked beautifully
I bought these keys and programmed them myself for a Toyota Corolla 2013. I found out the hard way that new keys must have the same symbol (G, H or a dot) visible on the blade as your original key, or you can't program the remote and it won't start the car. Another vendor might say "compatible with G-chip", but only the symbol on the blade matters. Make sure the key can be programmed before you have a locksmith cut the blade.Keys require two programming phases, "transponder" (so it will start the car) and "remote" (so the buttons will lock/unlock the doors). You can do remote programming on most cars for free using the original key and opening/closing the driver door. Watch a Youtube video for your model and year. But the transponder programming requires a device to put the car into transponder programming mode. They can be bought for about $40.DIY with these keys saved me $100's. Don't take it to a dealer, they are a rip off.

Great keys
Works very well with 2012 Toyota Corolla. Had to replace my only original key that has been broken apart. Went ahead and ordered two keys so I could have a spare.MAKE SURE that the letter on your original key matches the new one before you order it! In this case, mine was G so I ordered two new keys with G on it. Otherwise, it will not work with your car.Got both keyed by locksmith which unfortunately he couldn't program. Found a mechanic that could program the remote.A lot cheaper than buying and/or getting it done at a dealership!

DIY, programmable!
After reading a lot of reviews most failed to mention about programming capabilities of the new fob. You can do it yourself (youtube). As long as you get the right key. Programming takes less than 5 minutes by following a series of steps right in the driveway, no need to go to a dealer. Would definitely buy again. We ordered for 2012 Corolla.
