beware - shift / ctrl / alt key combos DO NOT WORK reliably
My experience mirrors that of other reviewers who have complained that key combos on this do not work reliably and you cannot program the keypad to send right-shift / alt / ctrl plus a keystroke. If you just want it to send function keys, or regular alpha characters it seems to work just fine. But shift + something simply does not work.

Decent product but cannot be programmed on the fly and limited number of macros.
The unit is well made but it has functional limitations. Number of macros is very limited and the unit cannot be programmed on the fly. You have to put it in special mode and disconnect and reconnect every time a change is required. My requirement during programming is that I can store commonly used variable and other text which will change frequently. I ended up returning this unit and used my existing Logitech programmable keyboard with AutoHotKey freeware.

Should include Quality Replacement Keycaps
I bought this for work because of the special program I use and all the F keys with a num keypad. They do have the market cornered with this product but for the price should include top quality key caps of choosing! not some fn useless stickers!!!!!! doesn't feel like real cherry reds at all, seem pretty cheap, so hopefully they can be replace down the road with real quality switches. besides that programing was easy enough. Put some efforted into the word QUALITY! because for the price it was the same price as my razer mechanical keyboard that has quality switches and key caps.

Perfect little keypad!
I was very interested in getting an ortholinear keyboard, but didn't want to jump in without trying it out first. Couldn't find anyone local with a grid-like keyboard so I went looking for a flat numerical keypad that I could turn on its side. I eventually found this. Couldn't find much information online about it, but figured it was worth a shot. It definitely was.I currently use it for gaming, but will be setting it up as a macropad for programs for work as well. It has also inspired me to build my own keyboard (which I am currently in the process of figuring out what to get). The software for it was a little hard to hunt down, but there's a link to it on a YouTube video Koolertron has posted about this keypad. The program file is AMAG.exe and is called AMAKeyboardClient. It works great, though just now I seem to be unable to connect to the keypad through it. I'll edit this review in the future if this becomes a persistent issue. I'm sure if you're already into keyboards there's some other program that would work just as well, but I'm quite new to this and didn't want to risk it!It claims the 65 keycaps included are top-printed, but they are double shot, and of pretty decent quality. They're on par with the Corsair K70 keys I would say. The blank keys however, are horrible. I won't be using them on anything. They feel gross to touch. Also I was missing one 1u sized key, and one 1u key was significantly discolored. Overall not a huge deal, but I would have preferred to use the blank 2u key as my spacebar instead of the "0 INS" key. The blank keys feel like trying to assemble a LEGO kit with dollar store bricks.I've used a Razer keypad in the past, but got rid of it after only a week or so of using it. It was far too uncomfortable, and the lighting was greatly disappointing. The lighting on this is BRIGHT (and adjustable!). I use my wallet as a wrist-rest while using it right now as it can get a little uncomfortable after using it for a bit. I'll be getting a proper rest as well.Very happy with this keypad overall, I'd definitely recommend it for gaming or work. Would be a great stream deck as well.

Bit pricey considering it's somewhat buggy
Needed a programmable unit for a previous job, it's not the most intuitive programmer, and it needs a better way to setup macros and to have more. I had a few issues, one the lighting would just reset on its own to something weird, I would then have to take it home and reprogram the lights. The keycaps need to be one uniform size so you can move keys anywhere. I needed something with onboard memory as work did not allow software usage. this fit the bill, but the interface to set it up needs a lot of work to make it simpler and better.
