Works. Install on VW GTI 21 detail
It works as advertised.The installation on my 2021 VW GTI was not as easy as directions indicate. There are many videos which all skip a key step.The once you pop off the big shift surround trim and lower trim you should be able to push the three button panel up form below. Except you can't.There are plastic clips, which must be disengaged on the switch panel. I used 4 pieces of cut up credit card approx. 1/4 wide and 1.5 inch long - 2 inserted along the seams on each side. If you look closely on the right side of the switch array unit you can see where there top of the clip begins as small indentation.Once those 4 are in place you can push from below to push the switch array up and out to get to the cable.

Does not Work - 2021 VW Golf
Installed on my 2021 VW Golf and it didn’t change anything…. Auto start/stop still functioned the same as factory. Getting refund from Amazon. 🤷♂️
