I must say, this is the fastest monopod to use for photography, birding, or safari. You can make rapid changes in the height, so Pineta sits in a sweet spot when you need stable platform but also need to move fast. Good job by the product design team!I have purchased both SE aluminum and Carbon versions of this monopod, and interestingly they are both almost the same weight and size. SE aluminum does not come with FEISOL quick release plates at top and bottom. Carbon has FEISOL plates, but this makes it same weight as the aluminum version.Carbon version is quieter. If you shoot at church, weddings, or wildlife you should go for Carbon. Otherwise aluminum would do just fine for all other uses.

I have no issue with the performance of these braces and understand that they are only useful for sliders but for almost $100 they should be of good quality materials but they are made from the super cheep micro ball heads and clamps on the other end the slid locks are cheep plastic also. The pair should have been 19.99 at most.

This solution worked well for me. The arms provide steady support for slider, and were fairly easy to configure. I sorta guessed on a few of the connections - but the final assembly seems very sturdy. The Slider itself is very good quality. Seems very well-built without being too heavy. It's a manual slider - but that's okay, I knew that going in. There are some videos on Youtube that show how to connect the pieces properly. Happy so far.

I mean, it works? But for how long. You definitely feel worried about over tightening as these areas are plastic. Would it be so much more trouble and expense to make everything out of metal? These are meant to support a slider and camera.

Super sturdy and does the job exactly as expected. Seems like it will last a long time. My only problem was the packaging, check out the pictures

I bought this for my camera slider to solve the dipping issue as both ends of the slider are not supported. Tested it out in real world applications and it has worked well and solve the problem. This makes my timelapse videos more professional. For serious photographers or video makers this is a must have accessory for camera slider mounted on tripods.

Not sturdy but very flimsy. It is overpriced.

It's a good product. Good price. Wish it came with a portable carry bag.
