Great Taste and Very Low Salt
I eat oily fish (Mackerel and Sardines) for the heart health benefits. Most tinned fish is loaded in salt, which I'm suppose to avoid. This product has a very low salt content and tastes great! There's another brand of Mackeral in water on Amazon that sells for twice the price. I purchased some of that from Whole Foods to see if the higher price was justifed. It was not in my opinion, I couldn't tell any difference.

I was very happy with them you can try them or have them on toast straight from tin buy ten at a time save a fare bit this way good for a snack or try up dinner .some time you buy of fish are swimming in oil.. but these are all fish very little oil well worth there money.Try them you will be delighted with them and will want to tell your friends about them

If you don't want mackerel in brine, this is the bis..
If you specifically want mackerel in water as against brine, then i can't fault the product. The quality of the fish is high and it is bone-free. If you simply don't want fish in oil, then i'd recommend instead Tesco's mackerel fillet in brine. It is much tastier, thanks to the bit of salt, and only 65p a can rather than 95p a can.

No oil or brine, just water - brilliant
So nice to have tinned fish NOT in oil or in brine, just in water. Usually I've only seen tuna in spring water, so it's refreshing to have mackerel. They don't even have this instore, so Amazon are doing great having stocks, and being able to have a whole box of ten instead of being capped at 3 items as the shops are doing during pandemic is what drew me to order them. Glad I did: they are nice just in water as the oil or brine does not then give unwanted flavours to the plate; just scrummy mackerel.Update 2022: wonder why this appears discontinued, when it was so good. Can't get any sadly

Ok but lack flavour.
Theres nothing wrong with them, but they do have a bland taste compared to other tinned mackeral, asda tinned mackeral have more flavour.

Great quality and price.
So glad I found these on Amazon, whenever I order them on Morrisons I never get the full order as I order a lot as they're perfect for my Keto diet. So finding them on here for the same price with the convenience of Amazon delivery was a real find. Best before dates are very long, 2022, so really happy with the purchase.

Value for money.
Ideal way of making a purchase of a useful pantry item.I find these versatile in their uses. You can eat them on toast, with a salad, or added to a quick evening meal. The only downside I have is both my cats have a sixth sense whenever I go to open a tin, and then bother me for a treat.
