Worked like a charm
I'd been looking at all the hardware stores for a replacement magnet for my shower after the existing one broke. This magnet worked great after I was able to get it positioned properly.

Perfect fit for my standup shower door.
One of my shower doors had a magnet that was deteriorating and I searched every local hardware store for a replacement but couldn't find one. I tried smaller magnets glued together and a couple other options but I couldn't get a proper seal. I decided to try this magnet and it was a perfect fit! To install I used waterproof glue and clamped it overnight. After two plus months it's holding up great with no signs of wear. The price is somewhat high for a small magnet but I couldn't find this size anywhere so it's worth it to me.

Expensive but not many options out there.
I couldn't find it a Lowe's and their staff was not very helpful. so after about 45 minutes of walking around Lowe's trying to find a solution I decided to just look online. Found it here and it does just what it's meant to do. Really expensive for what it is but Ebay didn't produce any better results. I have a feeling this will rust pretty quick but It hasn't yet (been about a week). I'll update if it rusts.

Did job! If you know what your doing
Works perfect and would buy again! Hardest part was disassembling shower screws breaking as i tried removing them. That was hard part. Installing this was simple as sliding it in.

Was not a fit for me and couple marks on top and bottom of magnet.
So, it was too wide in overall and channel width for me. Which isnt all that bad... The old magnet had rusted apart and rather than have to dig/chisel/cuss the remaining magnet out I just flipped this one backwards so it attracted to what was left in the channel. Used some double sided tape to stick it in place and voila. Had I not already taken part of the frame apart to get the strike jamb out to remove the old magnet I would have been much happier and it would have taken me out 30 seconds to repair. So, the door is not staying closed and when/if the tape fails Ill put some more, thats a win I guess. No one local had the right size/anything at all anyway... Just FYI since this is the only size you can see on Amazon, doesn't mean it will fit. It's very hard to measure and check until the strike jamb has been removed unfortunately. I've installed 1000s of shower doors from 3/4" glass the size of a car to the cheap stock doors. Maybe just save yourself the trouble and just tape it on rather than fight the door apart and possibly break stainless screws off (or other worn/corroded components) and have to drill them out, etc.

Caveat Emptor
The main illustration that comes up on this item's page shows four (4) individual magnets which is a good value for the price. However, the quantity shows as one (1) which I presumed to mean 1 set of 4 pieces. Apparently not so. What I got for $15 + sales tax is ONE lousy magnet. Not exactly what you'd call a good value. Item is being returned and I will find a less expensive source.

Amazingly powerful and strong magnet. It fits real good in my shower. I did not figure out yet how I am going to fix it as the other side need to be glued or something to hold. Will get glue and update more later. Happy with the product and the shipment was really really fast

So far so good
Removing the old magnet was the tricky part. Once this was done, I put this one in but you have to be careful getting this in, could be snug at times so just be patient and don’t use excessive force or else you will end up with a broken magnet.
