The author also provides a number of compelling pictures and narrative descriptions of the various themes, types, and categories exemplifying the broad range of Lladro and Lladro-family products, all while fleshing out the fascinating story of Lladro in a personal and relatable manner. This book is absolutely beautiful, put together with a tremendous amount of the history of Lladro and how the brothers evolved over the years, I didn’t even know that some of these pieces existed prior to this book. After collecting for a lot of years I understand that nobody can accurately put a price on a piece of Lladro, today on an auction site the piece sells for $1,000 then you see it listed on websites for $600, and another one showing $2,000. Lladro beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I have pieces I bought because I love the beauty and color of the figurine, and felt the price was right for me. When my kids sell my collection one day I’m sure they will only care about how much they are worth. And at that time only you can determine what the piece you want is worth. The book is perfect for the collector. Thank you

I expected this book to be a Lladro reference guide as advertised but it is not. It does have a very small list in the back of CORE Lladro products, whatever that means. It basically tells about production etc. I will be returning this book.

Useless. You have bilked me within a item which does not reflect current value.

This book is an awesome guide to understand the history of all Lladró brands. Is a must for any Lladró collector or any people that is interested in porcelain history in general (has a lot of pictures of pieces). Please don't expect a book with information about value of the Lladró brands, there's another books where you can find that.
