Read other reviews about the product and difficult instructions. Didn’t see a problem with either. I use it to hold a 12 ft cover and it works great. Doesn’t sag and easy to assemble. Instructions are mostly pictures so if you’re not mechanically inclined they may seem not clear. Got a 12mil cover from the same company via Amazon

It seems a bit flimsy but it holds our solar cover for a 16x32 pool. it droops a little in the middle from the weight. When turning the wheel you need to step on the wheels for stability, easy enough that my 7 and 9yr olds can do it but my mother has a bad back so it is harder for her. You do need a 2nd person on the other side making sure that the cover is rolling up nice and smooth. Doing it yourself you will have to constantly go smooth it out which takes longer to do but can be done. Not the best but its the best price I found and it does the job. Would recommend.

I bought this Reel System. It cannot be installed by myself because parts problem. I told the seller: "There are two problems: (1) the Part #10 couldn't put into the Part #1. (2) The Parts "Tube A and B" need to be overlapped. The part of the overlap needs 3 holes. But there is only one hole. And the hole is too small, the Part #18 cannot put into it! So, the installation cannot be finished. I attached some photos for your references. Thank you very much. The part A needs to be put into the part B, but the size part B is smaller than the part A!"What I received a seller's response: "The screws are self tapping and need to be tapped to go all the way into the pole. You can drill any additional needed holes. Please submit a photo of the #10 not fitting into #1 as we have never had an issue with this. "I have get friends to help me and he spent several hours to expand the inside diameter of Part #1, then the Part # 10 installed. I had to buy a electric screw driver to make holes for installation!This is such the seller requested buyer to do!

Parts were missing which the supplier provided except one screw and nut. Also the screws for holding the reel in position could not be started as there was no threading in the tube. As a result I used self tapping stainless steel screws to fasten the reel tube together. All worked well using spare hardware had around the garage.

Would recommend. Easy assembly. Easy to maneuver. NO SAG! After reading reviews with complaints of sagging. I Purchased 20 foot for a 16 foot width. It was definitely worth the few extra dollars. Sturdy reel which the kids manuver in middle of pool for volleyball. Quality product which compliments pool area. I would purchase again.

My pool is irregular shape so I had to extend the reel to 25' making it a bit difficult to maneuver. The plastic crank handle held up for the first year but broke during the second year of use. I wrote to the company and requested a new handle. I never heard back but 3 days later a new crank handle was in my mailbox, that's customer service!

K, it wasn't hard to put together, I did it myself, but the straps are RIDICULOUS. They are supposed to attach to the reel with double stick tape. HAHAHA. A couple refused to stick, others fell off after an hour in the sun, and the others couldn't handle the stress of being attached to the pool cover. Useless. So, I have a perfectly good reel sitting in the back yard with no way to roll up the pool cover. I will have to visit a pool supply store and buy a different system to attach straps to the reel.

Needed something that could hold a 25ft wide solar cover. This worked pretty well. It does sag in the center, but we were able to wind it on there pretty well and get it moved to our shed. Does the job we needed it to do. It is heavy with the large cover we have on it.We didn't trust the stick on velcro to last long so we used self tapping screws to hold the straps to the bar.
