This call bolcker for the landline phone has worked well in the past weeks.It's easy to install.The up and down set in the insruction are the “◀/ ▶” on the phone blocker.In a huge bonus, I've learned that not only can it block area coeds,but it can also block area codes, but it can also block area code plus local exchange.One small improvement would be some kind of small feature to enable hanging it on the wall beside your phone, although it does have holes it can hang from using nails. To me this one has been well worth its price.

Was working great for the first few months. I would come home and scroll through the numbers and block the calls that I wanted to. Then, all of a sudden it wouldn't scroll through the calls. The only way I could block it is if I were sitting there when someone I wanted to block called. I would hit block while it was on the screen. Otherwise, I can't use it now. I'm guessing it still blocks some calls that I originally blocked, but, I now can't block all the new ones coming in. I'd stay away from this product. I'm now going to look for another one but feel like I wasted $49.99!!

After being annoyed long enough by the scammer calls, I wondered if something was available on Amazon to deal with this problem. There are several devices listed, the difference seems to be the internal memory to store phone numbers. They look identical, but are sold by different manufactures. Take your pick. I had it connected in series, wall outlet to blocker, to phone. Then someone said my answering machine would not accept a message. Without checking if this was actually true, I just reconnected with splitting the line, one to the blocker and one to the phone. This seems to have solved the problem. The blocker stores the incoming numbers, so you can scan through them and hit the block button to store them on the blocked list. The incoming number list has to be deleted one number at a time, so it is necessary to keep up on this. A better method could be developed to deal with the incoming number list. While my blocked list was low, it would shut them down before the phone would ring. Now that I have two dozen blocked numbers, the phone might ring once before the unit finds the match and blocks it. I like it, saves me from answering a lot of annoying robo calls.

This land line call blocker works great, if I have a question I just look it up in the instructions booklet. Thus far I am able to block any call I need to. It is a bit smaller then others, easy to set up, and I love pushing that red button.

My only problem that it blocked all ID calls including friends and family. Also, some spams have numerous phone numbers each of which had to be blocked.

For the most part it works well, however, I have found that it will inadvertently block numbers that you haven't ask it to. I also find that I sometimes have a problem placing calls on my phone since I hooked it up. I will get a circuit busy signal when trying to place a number that requires an area code and a 1 in front of it. Other than those issues it works fine.

It’s certainly simple to install, but otherwise is useless. I’ve had it in operation for over a week now now and it’s not listed a single incoming phone number for me to block. Horribly disappointed.

This blocker works pretty well. The best part of its features is that it can block an array of numbers sharing the same area code or the same group of starting numbers. This is important because scam calls usually come in with random numbers, but they usually share the same area codes. The only deficiency on this feature is that it can only block upto a small number of area codes.
