Square D by Schneider Electric HOMT1520CP Square D Homeline, Single Pole Tandem Circuit Breaker

I needed to add a couple circuits to my super C motorhome, and this circuit breaker fit the bill perfectly.... easy to install and well packaged...

Impossible to find these 15/20 double breakers at my local box stores and supply houses. Good value. Easy snap in installation in my SquareD HOM panels, works and fits great.

I can double my capacity in the box. SUPER!I don’t want to be “a wet blanket”, buuuht, your total amperage still cannot exceed what the box is designed for. You can have 125% of the box’s rating. So; if you have a 100amp box and you add up the little numbers on your breakers, you would not want to exceed 125 (amps) in that 100amp box. Jus’ say’in.

It's my fault for not carefully reading the listing, but the first picture and one other show a 15-15 tandem breaker. Other photos and the description, however, are of a 15-20 breaker. I was able to make do and they are working as expected, but would have preferred the 15-15 breakers that I thought I was purchasing.Star deduction for inaccurate listing.

This tandem 2 breaker combo is an excellent expansion to Homeline panels.These newer “tandem” breakers will only fit into newer Homeline panel that have “stabs” like those pictured.Pic #2 shows the difference on how tandem breakers fit, the standard breaker (on the left) also fits the newer style “stab”.

Since our main breaker panel only has one slot left, this is exactly what I needed to add at least one 20A outlet dedicated for a treadmill and multiple 15A outlets in our basement. Quality wise, it is a Square D / Schneider Electric brand which the standard in todays residential and even commercial electrical system.

Square D is the best. Build quality, longevity, most solid connection to the bus bar.
