Strong and sturdy
It worked great, I was kind of hesitant at first, it being plastic and all. I replaced my heater quick connects and it worked great. It feels sturdy and strong. Works even better if you use the puller tool.

A bit fragile but it gets the job done for a DIYer
Like others have said it broke before I could even use it one time just trying to get it on the first fitting but once I found the second piece (put tape over the "hinge" before using it) and taped it together it worked great. Love the price, worked flawlessly, just tape it together so you don't lose the unintended second piece. For something you will only use once or twice and the price I am completely satisfied. I used it to replace a heater hose (with the plastic Y fitting that broke) in my 2003 Suburban 2500.

Advice from customer!!!
The tool worked and if you have tried to remove your heater hose with a tool kit from an auto parts store you may have become frustrated. This tool is approx 1/8 inch longer which makes all the difference. However where the 2 pieces connect (hinge) it’s so thin and and flimsy and cheaply done that it broke in my hand before I could use it. I spent the next hour with 2 hands working blind on my belly trying to feel the 2 pieces back together. On my vehicle I could not put the 2 pieces into fitting separately and they had to be as a single aligned piece so it was VERY FRUSTRATING!!If you can find a metal version of this tool buy it instead because it is well worth it and will save you a lot of trouble.

Very fragile but I bought it for a one time use so it did its job.

Worked perfectly but broke….. BUT much cheaper than spending 1500$ on replacing the heater core

Did not work to remove heater hoses from 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali
This product broke at the hinge almost immediately and was not able to remove the heater hoses from my 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali despite trying from many different angles and applying a lot of force. In the end, I had to cut the hose fittings to get them off. I do not recommend this product.
