So! good, I bought two (kind of).
If you are thinking of purchasing the AEG CX7-2-35WR Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, you may be aware that there is a more extensive machine which looks identical, called the AEG CX7-2-45AN Animal Cordless 2-in-1 Pet Stick Vacuum Cleaner. So what is the difference? Although they look the same, when you remove the motor section of the AEG CX7-2-35WR, to use it as a hand-held cleaner, there are no copper power pads at the suction end of the unit, like there are with the more expensive AEG CX7-2-45AN. The power pads on the more expensive machine, power the brush-bar on the mini brush-bar accessory tool. There are accessory packs you can add-on to both machines. But again, be careful, as the tools again look almost identical, but you have to purchase the correct version for your machine model. Basically, the tools for the Animal version clip on, where the tools for this version (called the Flexibility) push on and are friction held. So why do I have both machines? Well, it is easy, they are both utterly brilliant. Don't be fooled into thinking that this machine is just a glorified 'Dust-Buster'. It is a lightweight, but powerful vacuum cleaner. It has two power levels, always turning on at max power, but the lower power level makes the machine quiet enough that you can deal with that rice spill in the kitchen at 1am and not hear a peep out of the neighbours. When in floor mode, the machine can be whizzed around the house, thanks to it's very fast head-turning feature, which lets the machine change direction with only little twists of the handle. There is also a very handy hair cutter feature, that lets you press a foot switch on the back of the brush-head, which lowers a series of blades into the brush-bar, cutting tangled hair and then sucking the pieces into the machine. When in hand mode, you get a lightweight, but very powerful vacuum cleaner, that makes cleaning the furniture and stairs an absolute breeze. The powered brush-bar on the Animal version does do a slightly better job, but it is the only advantage between the two models. The battery on high mode lasts 40 minutes. There is a three section power indicator on both models, but the vacuum will just stop once the battery is exhausted, rather than slow down. Charging from empty takes about three hours. Once fully charged, both models drop into trickle charge mode and the battery indicators will flash once every two minutes as a confidence check that the machine is good to go. There is a superb accessory tool you can buy for both models, called the telescopic crevice tool. It is well worth the money and stops you having to bend when using the vacuum in hand mode. Just be careful to purchase the correct version for this model. If it has a grey button on the top, that is the clip-on version for the Animal model, not the Flexibility. If you do not own a pet and do not need the better stair hair pick-up feature of the Animal model, then save yourself some money and get the Flexibility model. It might just change the way you clean the house forever. At the very minimum, it gives you the ability to deal with kitchen sugar spills, or hallway leaves, without having to faff about plugging in the main house vacuum cleaner.

Better than a Gtech
excellent lightweight vacuum, long lasting power and the hand held attachment is excellent for the car. My last vacuum was a Gtech and this is far superior for half the price. Only negative is that it requires a UK plug adaptor but still worth it.

DOES NOT WORK AFTER ONLY 1 YEAR
I HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR JUST OVER A YEAR , HAVING BOUGHT IT IN JULY 2020. HOWEVER IT NO LONGER HOLDS ITS CHARGE AND APPARENTLY THE BATTERY IS NOT REPLACEABLE. THEREFORE I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND IT AND I WILL NEVER BUY THIS MAKE AGAIN.

So many faults with this and resellers involved not taking responsibility.
This product has been a complete pain. The dust buster part works well but the stand up vacuum has had endless faults mainly stopping and starting even though the roller is cleared. It works intermittently. I would not recommend this product. The worst part os that I get bounced between Amazon, best sellers Co Uk and AEG website is slow and Unresponsive. I would return to my old shark in a heart beat. Or even a dyson.
