Fawn vs. Fong
I bought both a Miss Fong and Fawn Design and have to say there are pros and cons to both. Fong in grey has a nice pebble feel and is more structured, while Fawn’s honey is more of a buttery leather-like feel. Both have some great compartments, though, I appreciated Fong’s insulated bottle holders. Inside, Fawn has the same buttery material, but does add a bit of weight, while Fong’s is nylon. For the price point, Fong’s is good value with all its accessories (change pad, stroller straps), while Fawn has definitely got more of a high end feel to it. Overall, both bags are great and make carrying diaper bags feel like chic backpacks/messenger bags. When my Fawn honey arrived, I noticed there was a mark above the zipper, looked like a staple shaped dent. Since I lived in Canada, an exchange or refund would mean paying return shipping costs to the U.S. Amazon customer service agreed to give me 10% back on the price to my credit card.

Bummed
I was so excited for this bag, I just had my daughter on September 30TH and had not used the bag prior to her arrival. Yesterday was the first time I had worn the bag out and it’s already unraveling along the zipper. Super bummed as I love everything else about this bag.

Well Made and the Honey Color is Beautiful
I purchased this bag because after using a variety of tote-style diaper bags, I began developing consistent shoulder and hip pain on the side of my body where I carried the bag. I decided that backpack-style diaper bag was best, but I wanted an item that looked more trendy and fashionable than a regular backpack so that it can also double as an every-day bag. And because I am a chronic over-packer, I needed something that had some serious storage capacity. This diaper bag fits the bill. First, the leather (pleather) is amazingly soft but sturdy, which gives the entire bag a really high end look. Others have noted that the Fawn branding all over the bag is annoying, but I don't find it too obtrusive (and I'm someone who refuses to wear items with a lot of brand names all over them). Second, I really like the fact that the inside lining is leather also; it contributes to the high end feel and also keeps me from worrying too much about the occasional spill. The pocket placement is also wonderful; I tend to need a decent amount of pockets both on the inside (to keep things organized and accessible without having to rifle through the bag to find things) and the outside (to make accessing my phones, keys, metrocard, work badge, etc.) accessible without having to take the bag off my back. As for storage, I took a star off because it still doesn't give me as much room to store my toddler's items as I would have liked. The storage capacity works well enough for me to carry around my items (large wallet, two phones, keys, work badge, miscellaneous beauty items) plus the basics for my toddler (changing pad, a couple diapers, sunscreen and bug spray, wipes). For more serious trips, I can squeeze in other baby items (an ipad, extra changes of clothes, more diapers, extra meds and hygiene items) but it starts to get really tight. So when I need extra room (or when I'm traveling with the toddler), I use the Honest Company Cross-Country bag, which can easily hold all of the above plus a couple toys and more. Some reviewers have complained about the bag being heavy; this is true, but I don't really mind because it seems like the weight comes from the quality of the material. I also own a bag from Ms. Fong (not this exact design) which uses a similar pleather material but has nylon on the inside so it ends up being a lot lighter. I still prefer the look and feel of this bag (although I really like both). The straps of this bag do tend to move a little bit; I've had to adjust them a couple times when I increase the load in the bag. But they're super easy to reach so I usually don't even have to take the bag off my back to adjust them. If I could change anything, I might add a bit of padding to the straps somehow. They aren't super uncomfortable but they also aren't super comfortable. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied. And did I mention that the honey color is to die for? If you're on the fence, I think you should give this bag a try.

When the outside pockets are used it makes the inside a bit snug
Once this bag arrived I immediately transferred all of the things that were in my Juju be right back! Loving the honey color. I have the mini 2.0 in seaglass and fell in love with the brand and wanted the Bigger size.

Beautiful bag.
You can store a lot of things in this original size fawn design bag. I’m so glad I picked this color it’s very neutral and could match with anything I wear. I was worried about the color at first cause I thought it might come out as mustardy as the picture but it’s actually not. It’s a nice honey color and you can only get it on Amazon because it’s not available in their Fawn Design website.

High quality, plenty of space diaper bag
IN LOVE. This is the honey fawn. It’s a true honey color (not mustard or yellow). I have been through so many diaper bags that just don’t hold up with our active day-to-day routine. With two kids, there is plentyyy of space. Love all the pockets and leather handle. Zippers are so smooth when opening and closing. The buttery leather is so nice and the color is stunning. For sure high quality. Should have just gone with this beauty in the first place.

Great bag!
This is my second fawn design bag and I love them! By far the most space of any diaper bag I’ve had, easy to clean, I never worry about shoving everything I need in there. And it still looks cute! This bag is a little more yellow, less tan than I thought - but I ended up loving the Honey color.
