Q: The red light is still flashing after I put a new filter in. (Red light flashes indicating filter needs to be changed.) I don't see a reset button.

You have to push and hold the UV Control Button for 5 seconds to reset the Filter Change indicator.

Q: Can the pre-filter be sprayed off with water? We use it next to the cat litter box and it gets dusty fast!

I don't recommend it. The filter will crumble and fall apart (i've tried!). What I normally do is get a disinfectant wipe and wipe the filters down. I have cats too and mine is also relatively close to the liter box.

Q: how often do I change filter?

I thought the sign signal would come up to replace? Or you just replace without the sign coming up? I had mine for more than a year and I haven't changed the filter because the sign never came up? I don't use it all day just when the kids are in the room mostly during night time and it is in low. Could that be it? Should I have it on even when the kids are not in the room?
