Fructose is a great low glycemic sweetener. Granulated like table sugar but sweeter so you don't have to use as much. Some people associate it with high fructose corn syrup. But the truth is fructose is what causes the sweetness that is naturally in fruits, and in fact is also called fruit sugar. Table sugar is actually half fructose and half glucose, but the fructose is the sweetest half and is also the low glycemic half. So how most commercial fructose is made is by taking table sugar and separating the fructose from the glucose.Bottom line is people who are worried about eating fructose, had better not eat sugar, or fruit, or agave, etc, etc. because the main source of sweetness in all those things is fructose.

Things to know about crystalized fructose. It is just fruit sugar. Low and I mean low glycemic index. It will taste different on your tongue because it's a fruit sugar without glucose. It says it's sweeter than sugar, I find this to be the opposite. I usually have to use near double (for flavor but not when making bread for instance). I keep this and my favorite stevia around for different things.

Great sugar substitute with no aftertaste like other sweeteners. Plus the product seller does a fantastic job of packaging and sending out my product when they have it in stock. Absolutely no complaints recommend this product and the seller to everyone.

Easy to cook with

I purchase this for my husband who does not handle regular sugar well. He does not react to this Fructose and still enjoy his taste of sweet. This product also does not leave him wanting more carbs like regular sugar does. Since one only uses half as much as one would in sugar I feel great that the price is good. I love that it does not clump with moisture like the previous bulk brand I used to purchase. I love the recloseable package which actually closes. I have ordered through this company several times and have always recieved product well packaged and within a few days. I recommend this product.

Helps a bit with our family's hypoglycemic issues because it is slower burning than sugar cane sugar. It's a better choice for us. We still use in moderation.

This is not High Fructose Corn Syrup.Fructose is derived from fruit. Fruit sugars are broken down into fructose.Also, check the glycemic index for fructose.
