I received the bench today and thought I'd just go ahead and put it together. I'm fairly mechanically inclined so how hard could it be? Well, a couple of hours later, after getting help from another person, I finally got it together. The instructions that came with the unit seemed straight forward enough but there are a lot of important details missing. In addition, some of the wood pieces are cut improperly and there is no way to get a couple of the legs to align properly. Once I finally got it assembled it looks ok but I'm not sure how it will hold up over the long haul considering the workmanship. I considered sending it back but couldn't face taking it all apart again so I could ship it back. I noticed that the piece is currently showing "out of stock" and Amazon doesn't know if or when it will be back in stock.

Got this to go along with a dinning table i'm building and it is just great.
