Not bad
The system is easy to use but doesn't come with cables to link to your tv. If you want this to work for your tv's sound outside of the blue ray or Internet functions order an optical cable. I bought one from Amazon for 5 bucks. Not a true home theater system - it's really just a blue ray player that you plug your speaker and subs into - but it's perfect if you don't know or care that much about surround sound and just want some loud sexy looking speakers, sub, and blue ray/DVD player. The player is smart capable but you need to buy a wifi adapter unless you plug it in. For the price it's fine, five stars for quality to cost ratio despite a few of its shortcomings.

decent sound buuut....
***update:They worked for about 4 months now The blue ray player wont turn. I ended up buying an actual receiver, and just cutting The old connectors off The speakers and stripping The wires to use in my new Sony receiver.****The speakers them selves are decent, speakers would get 4 stars. What brings it down to 2 stars is the fact that the blue ray player feezes after a few hours of use, and when you plug an external hard drive into it sometimes it recognizes it, but most of the time it doesn't. I've tried unplugging and re plugging in the hard drive, and restarting the entire system multiple times. Its hit or miss. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Don't get this if you have Dish Satellite!
If you have a DISH Satellite, look for a different player. This one isn't compatible with the DISH remote, like 99% of all other players are. Also make sure to get the optional wireless adapter. It should of come with it, or use a generic one, so that you don't have to buy the overpriced Panasonic one.

loud fan noise
Only complaint is that it has a rather loud fan that comes on every few minutes. When listening to quiet movies you really get distracted by it.

Good Product
The product is good, but not have out RCA, neither have options to equalizer. Only have 4 options Pre- Equalizer, I can't configure the equalizer. The sound is good, but 1000 Watts is littler. but is good.

Glad I selected this one!
Had everything I was looking for at a great price. Set up was extremely simple and easy. Started enjoying it less than an hour after opening the box.

Very disappointed, will keep on trying
This unit has no sound when attached to a L.G. new flat screen T.V. with dirct t.v. satellite Spent one hour and 2 calls talking to Panasonic technical experts and they could not get it to work at all. They say it might be the t.v. No way. Very disappointed, will keep on trying, Talked to direct T.V. technical expert and they say the way I have it hooked up should work. At a quandary. My ten year old Panasonic surround sound worked fine for ten years and it attached just fine to the t.v. and direct t.v. source. Will keep calling and see what happens.

* Picture quality is very good on both DVD's and Blu Rays * Network features ...
I bought this about half a year ago. After many months of getting to know it I have decided to finally review it.Pros:* Sound is phenomenal for its price.* Picture quality is very good on both DVD's and Blu Rays* Network features work as expected.Cons:* Power saving: While I appreciate being green and all of that... I would love to be able to pause my Blu Ray or DVD and go to the restroom and not come back to the system off and a message "Auto off activated". An option to change the timing or to turn this off would of been nice.* And don't expect it to resume where you left off. It randomly decided to either save your spot on your DVD, or it just restarts your DVD completely... all with no rhyme or reason.* After 2 months the fan started doing very bad vibration sounds. Its not on all the time, but when it is its annoying.* The Netflix button is placed right above the up arrow.. and if you miss the up arrow and accidentally hit the Netflix, goodbye whatever you were doing.* No HDMI input. There is a optical input though, and it works very well.* I contacted customer service for Panasonic about the problems I had with this unit and after quite a while of back and forth, they finally offered to replace it... they then proceeded to give me an address and rn nummber. Then told me I had to find a box, and pay for shipping myself, and find a place to drop it off or have it arranged to be picked up, at my own expense. Philips sent me a box, or gave me the option at least for an prepaid label to print out. So has countless other companies. I was not happy with this experience.I picked out this unit after seeing many people recommend Panasonic Home Theatres in a box units. I must have the worse luck or picked the worse model because this unit has been way more problems then my Philips one I had before. I expected more from Panasonic
