Good transaction
This is a diaphram type regulator, and does a good job. I like the fact that the gauge goes from 0-60, which gives you a more accurate reading than most that use a 0-120 reading. I don't know of any painting application that would need more than 60 psi.TCP Global sent the product the same day I ordered it. I got it the next day. Great supplier.

Expensive but worth it; perfect for airbrushing if you have dry air
Yes, this regulator is expensive. Yes, you can buy a standard airbrush regulator with an integrated water-filter/trap for half the price of this filter-less regulator. But yes, this regulator is worth its $45 price -- but only if you have a source of dry air. I'm using mine with a SCUBA tank -- air refills are cheap, last forever, and I don't have to worry about water getting in the air line and causing paint splats. What makes this better than the standard, cheapo $25 airbrush regulator-traps?Accuracy. It's very easy to micro-adjust to an exact pressure, especially because the gauge reads 0-60 psi, not 0-120. (I rarely spray beyond 35 psi.)Quality gauge. The gauge sports a chrome body, a glass face, and a brass fitting. It reads without any discernible bounce. The $25 regulators have plastic-bodied, plastic-faced, bouncy gauges.Brass ports. Although the regulator itself has a plastic body, all of its ports are brass inserts with standard NPT threading. For the inlet port, I'm using a 1/4'' Male NPT to SCUBA BCD Quick-Release adapter that allows me to easily connect (and disconnect) a SCUBA first-stage regulator directly to this RTI regulator. For the outlet port, I'm using a 1/4'' Male to 1/4'' Male NPT fitting along with a Badger hose with a 1/4'' female feed. And I almost forgot to mention, this RTI regulator is sized perfectly so that it mounts into standard airbrush regulator/trap brackets. The panel nut for mounting is even included.

Cheap cheap regulator
First of, I received it with a little defect on the regulator ( pointer ) part, it was crooked. I thought it’s ok. Let me hook it up to the air line and test it, then after testing it it leaked badly from the diaphragm part. So basically it work. So I returned it. Very disappointed. But their return process was quick, that’s why I gave it one star.

Well worth the extra money compared to others
I am a painter ok, i use good equipment because quality tools, quality guns give quality finish. I run all Walcom HTE in my shop from primer gun, color gun, clear gun, and an ego 190 for touch up as well as custom cerakote work. Most regulators will show max pressure until you depress your trigger then will show you you psi output for atomization. This however is a true diaphragm meaning if I'm running 30psi when spraying that when i let off the trigger the guage will show about 34 or 35psi. I like that. Also its well made, so many i have owned have failed even one of my walcoms that have the digital QD guage. So now i purchase this RTI as others fail for on my guns left that do not have this regulator with disposable filter attached in each ones little black box.

Works well for my HVLP paint gun.
It's the only diaphragm type regulator I could find that also had a smaller gauge range for my HVLP paint gun. Most other regulators are just screw type cheapo kinds(not worth buying!!!)orThey're diaphragm but the gauge goes all the way to 100+ PSI with only 5 or 10PSI marks on the gauge for adjustment... useless for paint guns which need very precise adjustments but only below 40PSI usually. The knob on my old one didn't lock in place which was VERY annoying spraying when I look down and must have bumped it on my body and my PSI was off. This one snaps into place at the pressure you want.I gave it only 4 stars for one reason... the size of it. It's a pretty bulky regulator to have attached to a paint gun all the time...

Perfect for airbrushing.
Small size and fine adjustment with a push-to-lock knob. I use it right off of my compressor output regulator tee, into my airbrush hose so I don't even know it's there when I'm spraying. (I keep the other outlet of the tee at higher regulated compressor output air for a high pressure source without changing anything except which hose I'm using.) Seems to be of good quality. Always use between 10 and 25 PSI, so the 60 PSI max scale is what I wanted. Very happy with it.

Gauge
Came broken. They told us we wouldn't have to return but we did. Pretty disappointed, especially since it was for work.

Guage Sticks but otherwise works ok
First off there seems to be a lot of confusion about how to use the air pressure regulators (or more accurately air flow adjusting valves because they aren't really a true air regulator) often times included with paint guns. These regulators are meant to have the pressure set with the trigger pulled. I have been painting professionally for 5 years and have had zero problems with air flow adjusting valves. That being said, I bought this regulator to be used with my air brushes. The main reason I bought this regulator was because the gauge only goes up to 60 psi as opposed to the typical paint gun regulator which will go up to 120 psi. Not sure why they are that way but I personally never shoot with an air pressure higher than 40 psi so I figured I would be able to dial in the pressure more accurately. While the regulator works great, shortly after buying the regulator, I had problems with the gauge sticking. It will read pressure even when disconnected from the air line. I always turned the regulator all the way down before connecting it to my air supply and was used in a professional body shop environment so I doubt moisture was the issue. The gauge will still work as long as I flick it a couple times with my finger but still slightly annoying since I paid more than $40 for it. Also I would not buy this regulator to be used on a spray gun due to it's size and throwing the ergonomics of the gun off slightly. This may not be a problems for many but I found it to be slightly awkward when spraying for 3+ hours at a time.Pros:+ Works great with air brushes+ Easier to accurately adjust due to the gauge only going to 60 psiCons:- Gauge on mine is acting up- Too large to be used on a spray gun for any long period of time
