Great product. Works well on the network.

When I needed to upgrade my ethernet hub to accommodate more ports, I first tried a different brand which... was like a black hole. Though the connections seemed to work, it was impossible to tell visually, and that's one of the benefits of a hub: if something's passing through it, lights blink. The other brand was as dark as hole in the galaxy. The Linksys blinks happily 24 hours a day, delivers a strong signal to and from every device, and gives me the peace of mind to know that connections are active.

Use it to split the interwebs signal to the kids computers (5 of them). Helps them do their eLearning (and gaming) as it allows for the full utilization of our 400GB interweb speed instead of like 20GB via wifi. Plugged it in and it worked instantly. Wire out from the router (currently Comcast), wire into the Linksys Switch, multiple wires out to the computers, easy. Used a combo of Cat 5 and Cat 6 calbes I had on hand, no issues.

Prefer Linksys products as have never had a problem with them and this item is no exception. Simple plug and play to add ethernet connections for our home network. Recommend.

I plugged this device in and was able to get it up and running very easily. It replaced a router that was leftover from a previous Internet setup and fixed a number of connectivity issues with the attached devices. It was essentially plug and play. I previously have not had good experiences with Linksys products and their support but on the recommendation of a friend I tried a Linksys product again and was pleasantly surprised. It worked so well that I didn't have to go through tech support.
