Ordered a size 28. (I’m 5”7 135 pounds). Fit was weird. It has this weirdly baggy in the front and it was tight in the back. Tried pulling them up and it made it worse and tight in the crotch area. Bought them for hot weather. The material is thin which is nice but almost too thin. I could see the lines of my shirt when it was tucked in. The hip pockets were just barely big enough for my iPhone 11 with case, almost couldn’t zip the pockets closed. The phone would not fit in the thigh pockets. Thought about buying a large size but I think it would make the bagginess in the front worse.

Great long shorts! Good fit all over, not too loose or tight anywhere. I’m proportional 5ft5in and the shorts hit exactly at the bottom of my knee. I’m likely going to hike them up and wear them cinched at the top of my knee. I haven’t figured out how to manage the drawstring loop at the bottom of the leg. I’m concerned that they will get hung up on low branches when I hike. Excellent functional, large enough pockets, 5 altogether. True to size, and the khaki is true to color. Sturdy fabric, not thin fabric that would make you afraid to snag it on a branch in the woods. I don’t love the hook and eye waist closure. It’s sturdy, but I would prefer a snap or button which are less fussy. I recommend the shorts if you are OK with them being long. I’m buying another pair. I hope the company starts making the same shorts in a 9 inch length and without the drawcords on the bottom of the leg.

Update: I updated my rating to 3 stars. The seller reached out about the shorts and stated that they've made some changes based on customer feedback, which is why I received 2 different styles. They sent me a pair of the original style to fix the issue, which I really appreciated. I love these shorts! That being said, I wish that they would list the new style separately, so as to avoid this issue. I would like to be able to continue ordering the style that's cut well for me and closes with the button, not the hook, but I can't do that because using this listing I have no idea what will actually show up. The customer service is great though and I am grateful for that!I was VERY disappointed when I received these. I ordered the gray short in a 32. They fit fantastically well, especially for someone curvy like me. They had a little room, so I ordered both the 30 and 32 in the khaki color. Much to my chagrin, the 32's showed up and were NOT the same as the pair I received in gray. The zippers were different, they close with an awkward hook, rather than a button and the cut is much tighter and lower. In fast, they were way too small, when the other 32's fit with a little room. The 30's that I received were exactly the same as the 32's in gray, just a little smaller, which is what I would expect. Thinking it was a fluke of some sort, I ordered another pair of 32's. Sadly, they were the same as the other pair. I'm really mad about this, as I loved the 32's in the gray! Extremely poor production and quality control, made in China or not.

These are OK pants, but they are huge. I wear a size 23/24 jean, 00/0 in street clothes, and ordered the 26 since a number of reviews suggested ordering up. My actual waist size is close to 26" (it's definitely not 23" or 24", thanks size inflation), but these pants were way too big all over. I'm 5'1", and they were also down to my ankles - so pants, not capris and not shorts, but I expected that. Anyway, if you are very small, these won't fit. The material is thin and not close to the same quality of a pair of lightweight Mountain Hardwear hiking pants I have, which is more like what I was hoping for. Then again, for the price, they're quite nice. I'm not sure how durable these would be in the field, although other reviews suggest they are. If you are serious about your outdoor activities, rather than being a casual hiker, I think I would stick to recognized outdoor brands although they cost more.

At first when put on they seemed smaller then expected.....but no they fit perfect...with a bit of stretchI’m 5’ 6” and they end just below my knee.I’m 51 so to me that’s perfect 😊

I wanted to like these shorts which is why I kept them. The material and fit is weird. They appear to be well made and sturdy. The material traps heat. The fit is stiff. The material does not move with your body. It feels rigid, not comfortable. I though washing them would improve the fit, not so. They came out just as stiff and they shrunk a little, not good. I wish I could send them back but it's too for me to return them. I suppose I could wear them when I clean or paint but they really are not a comfortable wear.

I purchased 3 pair of these for my daughter in grey, olive and black. The grey pair arrived first and were exactly what we wanted with a 13" inseam. The olive and black pair, when they arrived, had a 19" inseam. I did contact customer service, and they were great, and was told that the new ones are longer due to feedback from customers. Just be aware of the difference in length when you purchase.

These cargo shorts are my go to for all outdoor activities. They are lightweight, comfy, dry quickly, and have lots of pockets for keys, phone, gardening tools ect.The waistband has a little bit of elastic for ease of movement but isn't completely elastic which is flattering.My summers are spent outdoors from sun up to sundown and these are the shorts I grab over all others.

Very light weight, but not see through. Elastic waist with button/zipper front. Deep, mesh pockets. Comes with a belt.I would buy these again.

Very disappointed. The size does not match what the company says. I do not recommend buying.

Late arrival - horrible product, ads are misleading. Tiny pockets you can barely get your fingers in even cargo side pockets. Do not recommend & way overpriced. Returning.

These look great but they fit small so I had to return them

I bought grey & black. These black ones fit great! The grey ones (same size) are VERY big. I kept them but the black are great!
