OMRON BP785N 10 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

My husband has to monitor his blood pressure several times a day. We tried several wrist cuffs, but they were not accurate. I still had to monitor his blood pressure with my manual cuff. But, this upper arm blood pressure monitor is as accurate as when I take his blood pressure manually. I highly recommend it if you need to monitor your blood pressure.

It records B/P accurately and works with being in A-Fib. The battery and D/C is a very convenient feature. Plus the storage of previous readings works smoothly.

Use at your own risk. This monitor is not accurate and could mean taking too much or too little HPB medication.

Out does all of the other BP monitors we have seen to date. Get it. It works. It reduces your anxiety over BP like right now.

This blood pressure monitor has some very nice features, the numbers are easy to read, the molded cuff is easier to place then the flat wrap around cuffs. I like the option of using a plug in to electric outlet as opposed to just battery operation - that way the read can not be blamed on low batteries!! I took this monitor to my Dr. to see how it would "calibrate" according to her BP readings. Unfortunately, after twice on the left side and twice on the right side, she felt the monitor was about 20 points off - reading higher then it should. My Dr. felt I should return this monitor, or request an exchange.

It was what I expected from omron. I had an omrom before (model HEM703CP) and it worked fine for years until the cuff went flat and it would no longer inflate. Can I get a cuff to fit that model? I still like it and it still works.
