This Braun replacement shave head brought my older Braun Series 7 back to life - it works great and provides a nice clean and close shave. I didn't realize how my shaver's performance had deteriorated over the years, so I wasn't using it regularly - this shave head should have been replaced years ago - now my shaver is working like new. I only recently learned that this replacement shave head is a normal wear and tear (maintenance) item. I can honestly say that this is a genuine Braun part (made in Germany), and it has inspired me to start using my electric sharer again. I recently bought the same exact cartridge on eBay, in would seem to be legit Braun packaging. It was cheaply made and an obvious knockoff, even in packaging that would fool most people. This one, however, is a legitimate Braun product. Comparing the two cartridges side by side, and the quality of the shave tells the story. You can be sure that these are the real deal, but I would steer clear of the open packages as they could be knockoffs.

This is the ONLY replacement head for the Braun razor that one should purchase. It is made in Germany of the highest quality. The others are made in China and are not up to the Braun standards. They are dull compared to those from Germany.
