This is a good product. You save quiet a bit by making your own vanilla and it has a good taste.

This review is for the unopened product. I’ll be attempting my first batch of homemade vanilla extract and thought the Pacific Trader Grade B would be a terrific dejection based on previous reviews. The product arrived vacuum sealed and these 5 brand are so fragrant I can smell them through the packaging! I have e dry confidence that these will pair nicely with a deject bourbon to steep over the next 6 months - looking forward to it!

These are high quality extract vanilla beans. They smell heavenly, even through the packaging. I love to bake when I have time. I will never never buy vanilla extract in the store again. So easy and better for you to make your own. I will be buying their 10 pack next time to save on cost. Plus... it's a good feeling knowing I am buying fair trade.

I love that the vanilla beans are from PNG. I love how they smell and the texture, that they are pliable. So far, I used them as aromatherapy, boiling them in water w a couple spices to scent the air. I plan to make extract w the rest if they dont get turned into cookies first. The company rocks and their mission incredible.

I recently purchased these extract beans from Native Vanilla. I plan to use them in making my own vanilla extract. The beans were fresh, very moist and fragrant when I opened them. They smelled amazing! I plan to order more.

Were good beans but smaller than I expected.

This product is labelled as a grade B, but it deserves to be an A. The beans are so moist and sweet.. I wasn't expecting such a great quality.

The first time I ordered these, they worked quite well. I followed the instructions and the extract was the same as the high-priced version from Williams Sonoma. However this time, the pods I received were so dry, they almost had the texture of tree bark. I had trouble cutting and splitting them. They're now in bottles and I'm going through the process of turning the bottles regularly for the 5 weeks suggested. I'm not confident they'll turn out like the first patch. I would not take the chance on these again.

These vanilla beans smell wonderful. Very fresh and nice and plump for Grade B beans. I bought them to make a good quality vanilla. The first time I bought beans to make vanilla I followed the directions and shook it every other day, but got tired of waiting for 3-4 months. I don't care for artificial vanilla but I do use it once in a while . Then I thought why don't I just add the vanilla beans to a bottle of decent artificial vanilla, and then I don't have to wait for 3-4 months. So that is what I did. I bought a 500 ml. bottle of Club House articial vaniila and cut the beans into thirds and split the pieces so the seeds are exposed and put all 5 beans into the bottle. Now I have vanilla that is as good as making it from scratch but without all the waiting. Of course I know some people would never do this but it's an easy solution for me and the artificial vanilla now looks and tastes wonderful, all thanks to the Tahitian Vanilla Beans.

I bought this to make vanilla extract. I have let it sit for 6 months and it still just tastes like alcohol with a little vanilla flavour. I just used a cup of vodka with the whole package of vanilla beans. very disappointed as it isn't cheap to do and not get vanilla extract. I don't know if the beans were old or if they were already used for something else. they were slimey as if they had been used already.

These vanilla beans were in an airtight envelope, they smell so good when I released the seal. I could tell they were very fresh by the smell, the feel, very supple. They are now marinating in some Vodka and Bourbon, it will be a few weeks before I can taste the vanilla extract, but so far so good.

I think the product is a bit moist to start with, therefore I do not recommend to store them for later use.I don’t know what happened. I taped the remaining after I finished using one. I used one, and the next I used, they were all molded. Pretty much the whole bag went wasted.
