Good enough
Unsure of longevity as I only bought to measure rpm on my mini lathe and floor buffer rpm but it felt better quality than the previous tachometer which I sent straight back after opening the box. Which was only a couple of quid cheaper. So far seems value for money for now anyway.

Rubbish
It was showing me 17,777 rpm on a 3000rpm bench grinder. with a piece of reflective tape properly placed. changed batteries with fresh and still, outlandish measurements. rubbish. returned and refunded.

Totally useless Chinese junk
Bench Tested this on a cooker fan motor, attached reflective strip, readings all over the place, got out instructions in case I was missing something ALL CHINESE, thought it was simpler to send it back instead of bothering my local take away, looking for something not Chinese if that’s possible

Seems pretty accurate
Bought this to check the idle speed and max rpm on my mower and strimmer. So far it seems pretty accurate and it is very easy to use. In addition you can turn the laser off and use it as a counter if you have say a light beam that gets interrupted by the objects/items you wish to count. That was a nice surprise. The only thing I dislike, which doesnt affect it at all, it's just me being picky, is that the laser is pretty bright and poorly shielded and this coupled with a thin plastic casing, means that the whole front end of it lights up when switched on. I remedied this by taking mine apart and lining the front end with black tape and it is much better. Overall though, great value, easy to use and seems accurate.
