As a Nespresso lover an espresso drinker, I am always in search of new Nespresso pods to try and reducing my per-pod cost is a nice benefit.I bought this sampler pack to get a broad range of new pods to try, even having tried two of the included brands/pods already (Cafe La Llave and Peet's).I have been super happy to date with this multi-brand variety pack.Peet's makes excellent pods (I've tried 4 of their roasts now) and highly recommend them all for flavor, intensity, taste and value.I've ordered the Cafe La Llave for my office and I along with my staff love this pod. Rich, intense flavor with a really nice crema. We drink these both hot and in cold drinks.The Meseta brand was a very nice surprise. Rich and bold flavor, it tastes like a true Italian espresso shot. Adding a spot of cream and this was a great double shot beverage.Lavazza also makes very intense espressos and this Armonico was smooth and balanced. A nice blend of acidity and the richness of an Italian roast. It wasn't so intense that the acids were overpowering, but it had a deep richness and nice nose which made sipping it easy. I tend to enjoy these at work and the smaller sips/or tastes make for an easy morning while working.I just ordered a multi-pack of the Kimbo and I really enjoy these in my chocolate almond milk mochas over ice. The flavors are INTENSE and bold. They hold up well over ice as the ice melts and blended with chocolate almond milk makes for a nice morning drink. Served hot, Kimbo Napoli is a solid cup of espresso; a nice wake-up!If you're looking to explore more than Nespresso's pods, this multi-pack is a great way to step up without a huge commitment. You'll likely and hopefully find a new flavor/roast and quite frankly, you'll save a lot from Nespresso's pricing without sacrificing major quality.Is there a difference between Nespresso and other pods? Yes, is the difference 2x the cost to justify only drinking Nespresso pods? No, in my opinion.There are some great roasts out there to explore. I've had zero negative pod issues using any of these in my Nespresso Lattissima Touch. Hopefully you too will be as satisfied, or more, with your new choices and savings.

Order received on August 6, 2019. In the box were six packages of different espresso varieties with 10 capsules in each:Meseta Il Caffe Espresso. Product of Spain; best before date of 1/28/2021Note: the seller indicates that brands provided will vary with each order. All tastings were conducted on a Nespresso Essenza Mini Original Espresso Machine by Breville, pouring into a 5 oz. double-walled espresso cup, and using the espresso setting on the brewer. If a satisfactory espresso cup was brewed, I also tried the lungo size. Previously, I had only used Nespresso capsules, with consistently good results. I decided to try the current product in the interest of variety and a lower product cost (Nespresso capsules cost approximately .75 each, and at 60 capsules for $30, these capsules are .50 each).With one exception, the products brewed rich and dark with a nice crema in the espresso format, and were enjoyable in the lungo format as well. Taste profile and intensity were in a relatively narrow range, and had minimal aftertaste. I had no clear favorite, and would gladly purchase and drink them again.The one exception was the Caffe Vero. I noted that it was less than a month away from its “best before” date, and that the capsule had a slightly different shape than the Nespresso originale standard (flat bottom vs. the out-dented bottom of the Nespresso). Capsule insertion required significantly more pressure on the lever than is typical. The product appeared diluted, with a muted brown color as it brewed; crema was average height, color and consistency. The flavor was watery with minimal intensity, and a second attempt yielded the same result.Summary: a tasty variety of coffees at a good value, with the one unfortunate exception. Actual cost per usable/taste-worthy capsule: $30/50 = .60 each. Another note: please recycle your used capsules.

Some of the pods are passable, a good number of them are swill. They're all plastic pods instead of the aluminum that Nespresso/other companies (e.g. Peet's) use, which means they're not preserved as well, and my Nespresso machine had trouble punching through some of them. And as others have mentioned, since this is a "grocery" item, it's non-returnable through the "Orders" section. However I online-chatted with an Amazon rep who manually refunded the money (I don't know if everyone else seeking a refund will experience the same though). Just spend the extra money and get the good pods somewhere else.

I picked this up to give myself a different set of flavors for my Nespresso coffeemaker - and it appears to be a one-off box from a "Subscription Crate"-style coffee service (which definitely intrigues me). I got a variety of flavors and styles, from Lavazza, Peet's Coffee, Meso and others, and it's a welcome change from the standard set of Nespresso flavors. It's a great deal, at about 50¢ per capsule, and so far, the flavors have all been excellent!

We love our nespresso alternatives! The original ps of course can't be beat, but they are too expensive for a 6 cup per person daily demand. Every chance I get I am always trying the alternatives for the right combo of value and taste.This was a great box to try, love most Italy brands but unfortunately most of the pods are not able to be punctured. We have an original line Nespresso machine and the alternative Muesto machine and it doesn't work on either. I've tried to troubleshoot the pods but nothing worked. I couldn't taste all of them and that's a problem!
