Ease of use
I liked the way it let me add 134a in my car however, the retaining clips on tool could be made a lil' better, some times it slips...enough said.

Works great!
Clamps on the can good. Works great for charging a system with R152a (air duster cans). So at your own risk, as R152a is flammable, so it shouldn’t be used in cars. But in fridges, and other things that use r12, it should work fine. Then again, there are people charging there cars with propane & butane. That would problem cause their cars to explode like the movies if they are in an accident. Not worth it for a little colder air.

For those older " freon " cans this will work
I used this tap on an old unused can of freon 22 and I was thrilled with the results

did not work for me
To be fair, I may not have used the correct hose, but I could not get freon to come out. I used the very same hose on a top tap and it worked fine. It punctured the can, and made a great seal. I just could not come up with the right combination of fittings and or hoses that would release the schrader valve.

If you are careful, it does what it does.
Bought this because redtek changed their threading and nipple on their new refrigerant/ sealant/oil products to be a non standard end now.Be sure to clip this on at the very bottom of your can to get all the stuff out you can. Get it all lined up and then squeeze it on fast so you don't lose much. Also be sure that your yellow hose has a metal pip on the inside of the end that attaches to the can clamp that can push down the Schrader valve that is on it. (Or I guess you could remove it) Mine didn't have a pip in it and I had to swap around the hoses, as nothing would come out because thothing was pushing the valve open) Not a big deal. I just swapped around the hoses for one of the red/blue hoses that did have a pip.Yeaaahhh, you are going to want to go ahead and NOT remove the clamp after you are done... As there could be a pretty substantial amount of refrigerant pressure left depending on how much you used. - I hate to say it but i's best to leave it to naturally leak itself off and opening it under pressure is a tad dangerous. This will not seal good enough to keep any leftovers so plan how much you will need beforehand. If you do choose to remove the clamp, do realize pressurized residual refrigant will attempt a hasty escape from the small hole and you chance giving yourself cryogenic skin burns if you choose to do so.
