Yoga DVD
So far it has been a very easy to follow DVD that has three routines. Being someone who has not been a part of a yoga class I found this something I needed for the non-running days to help prevent injuries. I can say that so far it has helped eliminate a couple nagging injuries, so I can say it has been a great investment. If you're like me and not that accustomed to yoga you may want to watch the routines a couple times as it will make it easier to follow. This will help reduce the number of times you will glance at the television and possibly create a new injury. The routines are challenging and it also creates a great workout. Recommended.

ok
I write this as a runner and physiotherapist who is familiar with yoga. Typically I use the Rodney Yee Power Yoga DVD for cross-training days, and I was looking for a yoga workout with increased focus on hip flexibility (typically not so great in runners). But I find this Runner's World instructor's delivery a bit strange (ie, patronizing, "bet you're glad to be done with that!") and the routines are not very challenging, such that I don't get a lot out of them. It also bothers me that not all of the moves are completed on both sides (where the instructor clearly forgot). There's also a smattering of pilates, which is fine, just not what I wanted. But everyone's looking for something different, and the cost is less than a series of yoga classes or what have you.

Not for beginners!!!
Terrible Yoga DVD. Assumes you know and practice yoga a lot. Poor instruction. Even beginners section goes straight into workout with zero explanation of what to do or how to do the position. Seriously look elsewhere if your a runner new to Yoga!!!

Excellent workout
Since I can't go to a yoga class, I bought this Runner's World Yoga dvd. So glad I did. I have been doing: Workout #2: Yoga for Beginners – New to yoga? Get started with this 30-minute routine that shows you all the basics! ANDWorkout #3: Yoga for Recovery – This perfect 30-minute postrun routine restores your range of motion and eases tension and soreness. I fit in both categories. I have tight hamstrings. 30 minutes per session is the right amount of time for me. I alternate between workout #2 and workout #3.

Wonderful for anyone not just runners
This is a wonderful yoga video for anyone not just runners. I have two teeneage boys who are cross county runners and they like it because it stretches the muscles that get tight when running. I like it because it seems to hit the whole body.
