Ripcords Platinum Tension Resistance Exercise Bands (60 - 90lb of Resistance)

I've been using their previous models for years, and they have served me well and I've never had one of them break/fail, either.Bought this newest model for the added resistance it gives for lower body exercises. It has done the job very well, like their products always have.

As usual, Ripcords rock.

This is my second Ripcord.I have had the black one for a number of years now and the resistance and quality is good.For this one, again, its a nice thick band, but like others have noted, the resistance of 60 - 90lb is overstated. It MIGHT be possible to get 60 pounds if your loop over another pole 4 times, or if you shorten the bands length when doing the movement, but its doubtful.Still, its a good band, with good resistance and glad that I got it.

Was really excited to get this, hoping it would be the one stop shop and I would not have to buy anything more than this.Boy was I wrong, There's no give in this resistance band, there is maybe a couple of inches at best.I recommend going for the ones with replicable rubber cords, then you can strap them all on and they will stretch so you can do your stretches/moves properly with more resistance than this claims.I guess I was suckered in a bit by 'the worlds strongest etc...'

Very good quality dipped latex. So why only three stars? The estimated resistance is entirely unrealistic, think 35 to 50 pounds. Also, the handles which initially make a good impression flex under stress. The company didn't answer my e-mail questioning how they measure resistance and Astone fitness doesn't generally have a good reputation among fitness enthusiasts.

Great for door hook exercises including basic standing exrecises. This is much tougher than the black sniper ripcord which has pretty tough resistance so this would be too tough for most. Great delivery service, would recommend.

Additional ripcord. Serious tension. The only downside is that it appears to be made of a different material from the other ripcords as it seems less willing to slide on either skin or material.
