Zinus Night Therapy Memory Foam 4 Inch Pressure Relief Mattress Topper, Queen

I have been sleeping on this for a week now. I will update the review in the future after I have had it a while if anything changes. For the first time in a long time I have woken up in the morning without feeling like I didn't sleep at all. My mattress is only 4 years old and has already developed indents on both sides (it was purchased new for about $800 from "well known" mattress store, such a disappointment). I know I must be turning a lot in my sleep as no matter how much (or little) sleep I got on my mattress I would always feel exhausted in the morning. I rotate my mattress every 1-2 months since it has a plush top, but it doesn't do much but prevent one indent growing faster than the other. I am 5'11" and weigh 165lbs so weight is not really an issue. I did a lot of research on many different memory foam mattresses and toppers as I am mostly a side sleeper and have heard a number of negative reviews from people that are side sleepers. I can say that this topper presents no problem for me and is much easier to sleep on. It is also not difficult to turn. This topper does not completely mask the indents in my bed but it is much less noticeable and for the price it was an easy choice over buying an entire memory foam mattress (although I still may get one in the far future).As for the smell, yes there is a smell. It can be strong if not allowed to air out. What I did was i took it out of the cover and let it air out on my comforter on top of my bed for about 8 hours. During that time I washed the cover to get rid of residual odor. After that I washed my comforter and bed sheets as that had soaked up a lot of the smell as well. I was able to sleep on it the first night without any problems or odor. Every once in a while I can faintly smell it when I compress an area I don't normally sleep on, but I have only had this a week so that is to be expected.

I replaced my RV with a newer one. The old RV had a queen size bed, which I had a memory foam topper for. The new RV has a King size bed for which I purchased this new topper for. I researched memory foam toppers at the time when I needed the queen topper (12 months prior) and decided on one that I got at a Walmart store, but the brand was no longer carried and I got it on clearance (I can't remember the brand name, but I can remember some of the information I learned when doing my research for the queen size). I was very very happy with that bed topper. It was 3 inches, with it being 1.5 inch of two different types of foam. That topper had just enough support to make you feel like you have a solid support system under you, but not too solid to make it feel hard, nor did it feel too soft. I bought this one because the description sounded like my old one, the reviews were positive, and it was 1 inch thicker to boot. I read one reviewer who said that this topper was hard and didn't recommend buying it if you were looking for a soft spongy topper. Upon receipt, I opened it and it was ready to use almost immediately. The smell was not so bad, and it completely dissipated within a few hours. This topper is comfortable, but it is NOT as solidly supportive as my older queen size that I loved. It is softer than I prefer, but not so soft that you feel like your laying directly on top of your mattress. Bottom line is, YES I like it, but not as much as my older mattress topper.

I have been suffering on a horrid cheap mattress for over a year at my work apartment, not wanting to spend the money for a better mattress...tossing, turning, aching, numbness, no rest... this mattress pad arrived with it's cover already on it. I allowed it to air out and expand for a day. The odor is about 85% reduced days later. I slept so well that I did not want to get out of bed. I do not toss and turn all night and I do not wake with the aches and pains as before. It is thick, soft, and just sort of hugs the body while still supporting my deeply swayed back, and yet I have no trouble turning over as with my high-end memory foam TP mattress that I have back at home. It's just plain wonderful for my body type which is fairly average, curvy, and full. I may go crawl back into bed right now. It has already been worth the under $100 price I paid for the full size version, so if it holds up for a year or more I am ahead of the game and well pleased. It does still have some odor to it, but I do not find it objectionable and I have only been sleeping on it for less than a week. Shipping was timely and packaging was in good shape and easy to unpack. I really have no complaints with this product so far and I no longer dread going to bed which was kind of like fighting a war before. Thanks.UPDATE: Two weeks in, there is no longer any noticeable odor. This mattress pad is great for side sleeping as well, and I have no issues with it holding excessive body heat like I have read about in other reviews for similar products. I still don't want to get out of bed.UPDATE: 6 months of use and it is still holding up. Like I said before, even if I have to replace it, the price and quality makes it very worth it. Love this pad.UPDATE: it's now near the end of 2015 and I still love this topper. It is holding up very well and I am back to buy another as a gift.UPDATE 2020:. STILL in great shape. I just turn it occasionally. Zero complaints. Going to order one for another home.
