I bought this to replace and aging hard drive in an older desktop computer, These drives are fast, much faster than a spinning disk. Installation took only a few minutes and this drive fit perfectly. No special drivers were needed to get Windows installation media to see the drive. We've been using this same drive in older laptops at work, and in every instance the drive installed smoothly and easily and, so far, as worked flawlessly. If you're looking to speed up an aging computer with an older hard drive, this is a very good option. And if you're building a new machine, this is a good contender for your new rig.

Before I purchased this unit I looked up stuff on SSD's and found what I was looking for.The read write speed to the SSD. I was reluctant to discard the information on my current terra HD.Well after looking stuff up and moving stuff to the newly formatted old HD. I still had one really big question.Why is this 128 gig SSD filling up to the point I only had 6 gig of free space on the new SSD. It was in the RED for weeks as I tried to discover why.So to save you time uncheck the indexing services on the SSD. This thing is wicked fast in the red or not. When I removed the indexing I got back over 30 gig and it is now in the blue. Like I said this thing pegs 7.9 on windows rating thingy. It does at the same time gets hot; but to the touch it is cool as a cucumber. After doing its thing it cools down just as fast as it heated up . 54c back down to 43c. I will run it like a rental and see if I can make it pop like a firecracker. So far so good I am pleased with my purchase. And just to put it out there I purchased a hybrid SSD plate spinner combo 2 terra's for 20 bucks more. I figured out how to get my SSD back to normal so the hybrid will go in my next build... I would buy again... Wicked fast.....

It came in a very good time frame. It was easy to install. The case for it feels appreciatingly sturdy, which you want for a storage device keeping your personal data on.

Fast enough for me. I don't do any benchmarking or anything like that. Works great with Windows 7.

Ya llevo 6 meses con este disco y va que vuela, súper rápido se volvió mi computadora, el W10 inicia en máximo 10 segundos, puedes correr lo que sea. Muy recomendado si deseas darle vitalidad a una computadora, pero eso si, estos discos envejecen mas rápido que los normales, y eso es porque están basados en memorias de estado solido que con cada operación de escritura van perdiendo vida, pero bueno eso es normal en estos dispositivos, hasta en las memorias USB pasa eso, así que no te preocupes. Por ultimo, este disco esta hecho en Taiwan y dice el empaque que tiene 5 años de garantía. Recomendado al 100 %.

128GB is not quite big enough as boot drive in my opinion, since along with the O/S you need to install a lot of programs and app data. Instead, I'm using this as an Intel RST cache on my old workstation. Even though RST is EOL and only supports up to 64GB, this SSD has extended the life of my workstation. I like that it has a DRAM cache itself.

Super rapido despues de haber trabajado un tiempo con un HDD. La computadora se siente que vuela, hace un reinicio en cosa de segundos. poco espacio pero es considerable por el precio. Me parece que fue justo el precio. El producto es ligero y de instalacion rapida. No hay mucho que decir. Lo recomiendo.
