Died the second day I had it.
I bought it to connect a Bluetooth speaker to my TV (which doesn't have internal Bluetooth). The Bluetooth technology seems to introduce a delay in the sound that is distracting. Mouths move out of sync with the sound! This, of course, is not the fault of the mnxo. But there was a problem. My mnxo worked as described right out of the box. I left it plugged in overnight to charge its battery and because that's the convenient setup for my context. The next day the mnxo was dead. No nothing, even the indicator lights didn't work. I connected it to different power outlets, and verified that audio was coming into the mnxo from my TV, just like the night before, but absolutely nothing. So, I'm returning it. Not sure if I'll buy another one, or just abandon Bluetooth altogether as a TV external speaker technology.

Does not work with car stereo.
I purchased this for a customer of mine. They own a 2016 Chevy Malibu which does not have SiruisXM ability. After installing a portable Satellite receiver there is no clean clear way to feed the Satellite signal into the factory radio. After reading reviews on multiple devices like this one, it seemed to have the most versatility. Yet the reviews said that the MNXO loses Bluetooth connection at times. Well when you get the instruction manual this thing is made for Bluetooth headphones. It is supposed to link to many other devices. In the defense of MNXO no where does it say it will link to a Bluetooth car stereo. Linking to the 2016 Malibu stereo is exactly what I tried and while pairing the MNXO to the car stereo it loses the paired link as fast as it finds it. Because it cannot link to a car stereo and no literature any where states it cannot link to a car stereo. My plan was to feed the 3.5mm or RCAs from the portable Satellite unit to the MNXO and out of the MNXO by bluetooth to the new Bluetooth capable Malibu radio. Reason being is there is only one USB in for direct line from a Smart Phone to the radio. No other way in so I tried this unit just for this purpose. Now I am out over $40 bucks on something that does not work.

GREAT PURCHASE. Bought another one for myself. 1st one was a gift.
Love it! Bought for my father who is hard of hearing, after hooking it up for him, used an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker, he loved it. Was able to work it himself. He walked around with it too see the range and got even more excited when it came through clear as a bell all the way out to the grill. His words..."bring on Football season" hahaha. I bought one for myself as well for nights I can't sleep and want to watch tv without waking up my husband. Can be used with any Bluetooth listening device. The box has two sets of red and white, so if you have old school blue ray/surround sound or TV, it works great. Out TV only has one red and white and needs connected to the amplifier. Turn the box ON for Bluetooth, Leave OFF the rest of the time. Highly recommended.

Minimal latency, easy sync, drops off occasionally, looks cheap but does the job
Am using this so my father can hear audio from his tv without blasting the volume up so high as to drive everyone else out of the room. There is a latency delay in audio however, even using aptx headphones. The delay is minimal, so if the tv volume is off, it's comfortably noticeable. If anyone else is watching with him and listening through the tv speakers, the delay comes through the headsets like an echo. This is not an issue if watching the news or sports, but for movies and tv shows where there's dialogue and background soundtracks, the latency is more noticeable. We paired this with the BlueAnt 3.0 Stereo Bluetooth Adapter & Headphones specifically because that receiver allows use of your own headsets. If he's watching sports or the news, he uses regular earbuds (or sometimes just puts one side in). This way he can still hear enough "outside" noise to be social, talk and comment about the news or game with us, have conversation and not feel isolated. When watching movies or tv shows however, he switches to his noise cancelling earbuds so latency does not conflict. This is not the most ideal, as this socially isolates him during these times, but it's the best solution we've found yet.One star deduction because occasionally the signal drops off and requires turning off, then re-pairing of the device.Bonus half star + because this can be used while on constant charge so we have it permanently plugged into the outlet behind the tv and don't have to bother with recharging.Minor star deduction because it looks cheap and flimsy. Also, the on/off switch is small and not easy to use (have to use fingernail). This device needs to be turned off when not in use, then turned on again in order for it to find the headset automatically, so an easier to use switch would be helpful. If it's just left on, you have to go through the pairing process again. Not sure if this is how it's supposed to work, but that's what we've had to do to get it to work.Overall though, it's providing a solution for difficult problem so until a better solution comes along, we are very happy with this.! ! *** update *** after using this for awhile, the signal drops became more frequent. Having to re-pair the device everytime that happens became too frustrating, especially because that meant interrupting and missing whatever tv event we were watching.Little more expensive, but much better solution that we came up with : fm transmitter to broadcast tv audio through a vacant fm station (like you'd do in a car to listen to your ipod through the car speakers), iPod nano generation 7 to receive the fm station, and earbuds of your choice. The biggest expense with this solution is the ipod nano, so you could cut your cost greatly by using a much less expensive fm receiver --- ie, a regular fm pocket radio, instead of the iPod nano --- but, we wanted something small and digital. Here are the components we used:SainSonic AX05B transmitter - $62IPod nano 7th generation - $140 (only generations 5-7 have fm receivers)Earbuds of choiceHappy family now!

Nursing home. 2 people and 2 TVs per room. Audio war greatly diminished by sending the TV sound to a speaker on the pillow.
I'm using it in a nursing home to "spray" the sound from a wall mounted TV to a bluetooth speaker on the other side of the room. There are two people per room and having a plugged in blue tooth speaker right by my friend's head helps him hear his TV when his roommate is watching something else on HIS TV. The nursing home won't allow physical wires stretched across the room from the TV to a speaker, so bluetooth is the way to go. This works really well for that. My friend doesn't like headphones so a little bluetooth speaker powered by USB plugged into the wall gives unlimited hours of audio.
