NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Matte Lipstick - Alabama, Brick Red

Received sooner than expected. Love the color. I read online it was a nice dupe to a more expensive lipstick I adore. It dries matte and stays on. These pictures are after I've worn it for a couple hours and even drank coffee. I ordered mine in the shade "Euro-trash".

Look up a swatch of the shade you're looking at online before you buy it, the pictures here are not even close to the shade you're getting. I knew about this and ordered the shade I wanted and got that exact shade, I just wanted to make sure anyone reading reviews knows that the pictures on here are literally many, MANY shades away from what you're purchasing. Whipped Caviar is a gorgeous shade, definitely one of my favorite from NYX, I'm just saying the image shown for it is not accurate whatsoever. It is, however, a gorgeous color. Goes on a smooth matte and stays in place. I love it!

This product is very weird. It only works if you either have a foundation underneath it or a cream, otherwise it smirrs all over and the color changes. So if you use a cream or a foundation before applying the lipstick, then it is great but if you apply this on a clean face you'll look like a clown, well, I did. I 'bleeds' and the color becomes like an orange/redish type of distasteful stuff. HOWEVER, if you use a cream or a foundation, everything changes and you'll have a beautiful lipstick that glides easily on your lips and give you the enhanced velvet color you want. To be honest, I dind't know that and I was going to trash it out. Months went by and one day, after applying the foundation, I realized I was out of lipstick and voila, got this one thinking...I'll look like a clown, but it worked and I since learned that the trick wit hthis lispstic is to have a foundation or a cream

Great dupe for “lady danger” by Mac. I you have olive skin tone and or medium skin or tan. Red orange will look more red. It will brighten up your face. No need to get all dolled up. Matte and clean. I forgot to exfoliate my lips and apply chapstick (I in particular have super dry lips. Genetics :/).

I brought the color gold digger love it so far! It feels great on my lips even though it's matte it doesn't feel dry on my lips and doesn't crack my lips at all. I use lip liner to bring it out more does have moisture applies on smoothly. I love that NYX products are animal cruelty free..

NYX make the best ever lipsticks, they keep their colour on lips, they glide easily, they last well, and the colours are always Contemporary AND traditional ....ALL AT THE SAME TIME!! Now... how clever is that....just what I like anyway. I've been buying NYX Lipstick for years, and years, and years .....

The colour ok but it doesn't stay on long, have to use a primer and lip pencil as a lipstick first. Never used this brand before but then you get what you pay for. Will use it but in future maybe not.

Very disappointed with colour. The colour on website much lighter than the one I received. I bought Electric Shock Matte last year but has been discontinued and the colour Shocking Pink looked the same colour on the internet, but I was sent a darker colour 😡

New favourite lipstick! Glides on so well without the need of a lip liner and has great staying power! Transfer at a minimum!Blue undertone makes your teeth look whiter and healthier, and I think the matte finish makes the lips looks bigger... which is a bit of a surprise.

A lovely lipstick from NYX .Fabulous deep vibrant pink, lasting and comfortable. I have the shade Sweet Pink.
