The best out here!
This scale has last me 13 years, I never do product review but when I saw it I had to. I have never change the battery or do anything to it and it functions like brand new. This scale is very accurate and helps me track my goals.

Looks and works well. I love it.
First, this scale looks very nice and I'm very impressed with the overall quality.Second, it does seem to work well. I had a different Taylor model for 2 years (that this guy is now replacing) and it worked ok most of the time. The problem with the last model was it was sloped up with separate "paths" for each foot. Which meant I put more weight on the back two "feet" of the scale than the front two feet. If I got back on the scale and shifted my weight just a bit more to the front two feet, I'd get a slightly different reading. I learned to stand the same way on that scale to minimize the problem. I've fixed it completely now that I've purchased this new scale.Note: Like most (or maybe all) consumer grade scales, it cheats a bit in the multiple attempts department. Meaning if it weighs you within a half pound or so of the first weigh-in, it gives you the same reading. I tested this by getting a 1/2 full cup of water and getting back on the scale, same reading. Filled the cup up just a bit more and got +.8 pounds. Dumped a bit of water out and the weight didn't change. Dumped a bit more, same weight. Dumped a bit more, -.6 pounds. I don't think that is a reason to mark the scale down b/c I believe all scales do that with multiple attempts in a short period of time. Tricky scale people.Update: I just tried it again (about 10 min departed from my previous scale tests) with only the empty glass and I got a reading of +.2 from my real weight. So it seems very accurate when you put a bit of time between weigh-ins.Best scale I've owned and the last one cost me over $40. Nice when you can upgrade and spend less!!

Easy to Read Scale
This scale is great. Easy to read and uses AAA batteries as opposed to 2032 Button battery. I would recommend this item.

Good scale, consistent, looks fancy. Pounds are accurate, but not the ounces.
This scale fits my size 13 feet, and holds my large self on it. I was nervous at first about the glass breaking, but that never happened haha. I've had it for over a year, and it works well. The battery life is solid. Screen doesn't have a back light, which at times has made me wish I got one with a back light, but that's only because I weigh myself in the morning and wake up before sunrise when its dark. If the lights are on the screen is very easy to read. I've noticed the pounds adjust pretty accurately but the ounces could vary. It also seems to be programmed to not change your weight if you haven't dropped more than a pound. I could fast all day and it seemed it wouldn't drop the ounces, but when it reaches a pound then it will reflect it and show a different weight. So overall this is a really good scale for the person that doesn't plan to weigh themselves daily. It is consistent in tracking so long as the floor underneath is solid, level, and hard.

Good and Simple
I have an account with Consumer Reports and checked into scales before buying this. I originally intended to buy a body fat/water percentage scale, but I found that those are extremely inaccurate, to the point of being useless, so I opted for a basic scale. I have a lot of respect for Consumer Reports and this scale got #1 of all the scales they tested. It has high accuracy and consistency. My dad owns a gym here in Belfast, Maine and I weighed myself on his professional scales and then on this one (on a carpeted floor) and it was consistent within about 0.3 lbs, so very accurate. It looks really nice and the price has been reduced (Consumer Reports said it cost $35 at the time of their review). You just tap it to turn it on. I also found it's pretty consistent with respect to where you're standing on the scale and how you're leaning. My mom had an older digital scale that would give drastically different readouts based on how you were standing on the scale, but I've played around with this one and it doesn't make much difference whether I'm on the edge or right in the center, whether I'm leaning back or forward, it's consistent.

This Scale Is Beautiful, Accurate, Reliable, Inexpensive...
I decided to wait at least a year before writing an evaluation of this scale. My previous strain gauge scale didn't make it a year and knowing how critical the bond is to the parent metal (and how the bond can be degraded by moisture,) I was reluctant to buy another strain gauge bathroom scale. However, I also know they can be very accurate, repeatable, and reliable if done well, so I decided to give this one a try. After almost two years, it is working very well. It seems accurate, (I checked it with weights from my workout weight set) and repeatable. If you get off and back on it gives the same reading. (It reads to a tenth of a pound.) So far it has been reliable, my wife and I weigh ourselves morning and evening, most days. (The battery has not needed replacement.)I particularly like the way the reading latches once it has become steady, it holds for a second or two after you get off the scale so that you are assured that the final number is correct. As bathroom scales go, this one is quite attractive. (We do not keep it in the bathroom. I'm still leery of moisture, so it sits in an adjacent bedroom.) We think it is better looking than the pictures, even elegant! The price was quite low, so far we are most pleased with our purchase!
