Bought a set of light blonde couches in need of major TLC.I tried every 'natural' remedy possible to try to break up the dirt and oil residue with little to no success. I am not a leather or restoration expert, so I did my best to do 'bleaching' (not actual bleach) and staining as a last resort.After scouring the internet, I chose this brand based on customer reviews and some photos.Due to the severity of misuse, I could not restore to original color. With this in mind I chose a cognac color to try on the back of the couch.Color is beautiful applied as is straight from the little jar, but I wanted more Authentic leather look rather than a painted look.To give me the desired feel I was looking for, I mixed 1 TBS of stain with 1 TBS of water in a small bowl. Used the sponge applicator moving in circles. Because of the water addition, the mixture actually goes a long way and provided me with a beautiful finish.My couches are 96"L x 36"W - in total I ordered three jars, applied two coats to cover both couches and still have half a jar left for any touch ups needed down the road.All in all very pleased with my final results. You can see great coverage on problem spots and other people don't even know that these couches are restored.5 stars all around for quality, cost, and ease of use.

Cognac gave me the couch I always wanted! Our sofa was less than a year old. When I bought my sofa, I was concerned it wouldn’t be quite the right color but read reviews that said it’d be more orange-ish than expected. It was a decent color but almost immediately it started to turn a pathetic brown ish, yellowish, and GREENISH from sun exposure from the window. Enter in cognac leather restorer and it’s basically a brand new couch and even better! This couch was a year old, $2500, and looked awful. It was scary but with some courage and a couple hours, I’m more pleased than when I bought this thing!

It was easy to use and has helped the appearance of the arm on my leather chair where it had rough spots.I am hoping it will last a long time. I would have preferred it to be less shiny but overall looks quite good.

I made the mistake of placing a pile of Christmas gifts in their boxes on the seat of my Laz-E Boy recliner. The next day, when I lifted the packages off of the chair, a patch of the color of the seat came off with the packages. I used the medium brown Leather Hero Leather Color Restorer & Applicator and in a matter of minutes, the patch disappeared and the seat was restored! The color blended perfectly, was easy to apply, and after a month of sitting in that chair, it still looks as good as new! Wonderful product!

Made the mistake of using leather cleaner on our natural leather couch. It took off so much color that our beautiful sofa looked shabby. Spent a lot of $$ on a speciality liquid dye, only to not work well. Was about to put the sofa in the basement, when I saw a video on paint, and found this. It’s amazing. I had to toss the applicator, and it takes a couple layers to cover, but well worth the time and money.

I wouldn’t recommend this product. It was streaky and way too orange/red to look natural for cognac colored leather. Glad I only applied it to the ottoman. I did do a test and should have stopped there…

The media could not be loaded.  I needed to refresh our chair. Bought the wrong color. My fault.The quality is great.Used on those oversized vinyl leather couche and chair. And I have also used on real leather with amazing results.I do two coats and use the seal. It does have some wear after like 2 years (only on the arms in my case) I personally think it's worth it. It almost gives that faux leather deeper and lighter variations, but just in some spotsIf doing multiple projects in one room, buy the color at the same time. Might help with the color matching well. IMO.Happy painting. There color of the paint is not specified on the container, mark it asap. Trust me, I made this mistake.

In my case - perfect colo match - perfect coverage - longevity still to be determined - so far so good
