Great buy! It really helped our Family. Please read full review!
After scanning the internet for low cost mobility options for my wife, a friend suggested that we look into the Shoprider Echo 3 Wheel Scooter. I had originally found it on a different website but because I was looking for a better price, Amazon was where I ended up buying it from. We purchased this Mobility Scooter (MS) to assist my wife during long walking events, such as theme parks, certain outdoor activities & shopping. The first few times we used it was to the Sea World theme park. The small overall size helped her navigate through the crowds and the turning radius was great. The duration of time used at the park was between 2-4 hours of continued use. (Meaning that was time of actual wheels turning) We always had plenty of battery left. Our "big" trip for summer vacation was to Universal Studios Orlando. I made some minor modifications to the MS before our trip. I added a keyed on/off switch, a headlight and a jump seat, for my 6 yr old. So during our Orlando trip, we operated the MS at the maximum allowable weight rating which is 250 pounds. (Wife + 2 yr old + 6 yr old all rode on the scooter) The battery lasted 8-9 hours of wheels turning. Universal Studios has a lot of elevation changes so on level ground, and a lighter weight, I can only assume that the battery will last longer. I have not had any issues with the mobility scooter up to this point. This has been one of the best purchases we have made for our family. I hope you are just as pleased with your purchase.

Lightweight easy and fabulous.
I have back & leg problem so I have a hard time walking great distances. Wanted scooter that my husband and I could transport easily in the back of our SUV (Forester). This scooter meets all of our needs. It took us 5 minutes to put together. Charged the battery and off we go. We took it on a trial run in Seaside NJ boardwalk. Met and exceeded all expectations. I drove it up the ramp to the boardwalk with no trouble. Was able to drive right up to the stands and food stands. Moved right thru crowds. Even got to go inside a crowded arcade with no trouble. Noticed I had the smallest scooter on the boardwalk that day. When we got back to the car my husband took the scooter apart in and had it loaded in the back. This scooter is an answer to all my prayers. I can now roll and go. Thank you ShopRider.

Easy to assemble and light weight.
The directions were not easy to read/follow, but it was easy to assemble. My sister uses it for long distances. There is no key to lock it. The basket falls off easily. On the whole, it fits her needs right now.

Great product!
Great price and exactly what I needed. This scooter can go just about anywhere. My only complaints are the location of the power button and I had some trouble when a pin came out and I didn't realize it. The seat got stuck too far down and I had to pound it up. It has great speed to keep up with others walking it's fairly lightweight and easy to put together. Also can go through almost all doorways. I've even been able to ride it up my steep driveway and over short grass.

Description is a little misleading!
250lb weight capacity. If your weight is 250lbs you're not going to Fit! I weigh in at 140 and I don't fit. I am 5'8"and the front half of my feet hang over the front edge of the floorboard. It says that it has a handy pouch on the back of the seat, "Nope it don't". Called support, told them I wanted it. They ain't got it. Called them and asked if there is a way of moving the back of the seat back, "You can do that but it would take a lot to do". Convenient basket, Not Really. It needs to be raised about 8" and the front of the basket the same as the back and Not tapered, Hell you can't put a gallon of water or a 6 pack in it, they don't fit. Oh ya, the basket won't hold 110lbs, that kind of blows 250 lbs capacity out of the water.

Quits working after a few months.
Excellent scooter, however, one must disconnect the battery to plug in the charger. One must practically get down on the floor to accomplish that task. Methinks the designers and manufacturer don’t quite get what “disabled” means. After about five months of use, it wouldn’t back up, intermittently. It kept getting worse. Now, it won’t go forward, now and then. Bought new batteries, no help.CANNOT REACH THE COMPANY!! DO NOT BUY!

Awesome for my Mom
My mother is 92. She is in relatively good health; however, she can no longer walk long distances. This scooter was the absolute answer and she is ecstatic! She still exercises on her exercise bike in her bedroom, but long distances for walking are no longer possible. We used to walk the neighborhood together and talk, and now we can again! I walk and she rides. She loves getting outside in the fresh air and says this scooter has given her back her freedom. In fact, she named it "Freedom." I'm taking her on a vacation in April. She will now be able to go to the arts and crafts shows, the parks, the zoo. This little thing has a fantastic battery life, it is very quiet and stable, and SO easy to disassemble and load into a vehicle. Don't worry about putting anything together. It's a piece of cake!
