Stays on
My kitten is VERY rambunctious. She jumps all over the furniture and cabinets like a spider monkey. She’s also up all hours during the night. I bought this suit bc my last kitten was the same way but just by chance I put a harness on him when he was small and it calmed him down. He was so laid back and easy going with a harness on. When he got older he didn’t need it any more. So with her I thought about a little body suit. It did wonders. She is like a different kitten when she has it on. The bad behavior stops and she becomes docile and loving, she’ll lie in my lap( and she never sits still). I do take it off daily and give her some time to run wild but for the most part these little body suits are a godsend for hyperactive kittens. They fit perfectly with the only problem I’ve had is the neck hole stretching out and then she can get her shoulders and upper body out. If it had a little draw string it would be a 5. When she was spayed she wore it do she couldn’t lick her surgical scar. From now on any time a get a new kitten ( I currently have 8 rescue cats I raised from kittens) I will definitely have a suit ready.

Cute and Useful But
This is Cute and Useful and my cat stayed in it exactly one day before learning how to escape from it. I have no idea how he does it. It isn't just this one. I bought a few different ones and he was able to Houdini himself out of all of them lol Good luck though. It is well made and I loved it for a day.

4.9 Star
This recovery suit is a life saver! I can’t imagine my little sweet face to have to wear a collar for two weeks. For reference, I have an average sized Devon Rex (breed). They are slightly smaller than your average house cat. I ordered a large (due to a review that said her small cat fit in a large) and it was too big. So then I ordered both small and medium. The medium was the best fit.Slight downfall, when she tries to groom herself it creates pilling. We are 3 days into wearing and you can see every spot she has attempted to groom. I’m not sure if anything can even be done to prevent this (As in, I’m not sure what kinds of materials can hold up to the coarseness of a cats tongue). I also think it would be nice if the “female” side of the Velcro strip was double - triple the width for size variations. The suit seems to loosen up (just like a fitted tee shirt would) after a few days.At the end of the day my 5 stars are reserved for the unexplainable mind blowing magic so for this to come in at a 4.9 I think it’s pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend! And even if it only gets us through the two weeks, if she were to ever need surgery again, I wouldn’t second guess buying another.

cute color
my cat had her spay surgery so vet recommended a recovery suit and she didn’t do well with the cone so this helped keep her from licking the area and it fit her well

Descent design and made fairly well
I received this today. Ordered it as a back up to the collar of shame that my cat hates so much (he piddles in the wrong place if he's put in the collar). You can see he's a very furry cat for a shirt hair and the ear area gets thin from him scratching there with his paws. He's been to the vet and had steroids and a diet change..he's better but needed more help. The garment is made fairly well and seems sturdy. My cat is about 10 lbs with a fur belly on him. While the thing fits and doesn't really seem restrictive it's not very large and would definitely not fit a truly large cat. He was not amused when I put it on him and while it will keep him from overgrooming his belly it won't help his ears or tail over grooming (which I knew going in).It will be a good back up to prevent belly grooming but I'm going to be very cautious about this inducing more accidents (or paybacks I guess) lol

Much better than the cone!
Our kitty had surgery on her abdomen and was sent home with a cone. This is so much better...It fits snug, but has stretch and is breathable. The design is great that it goes around the neck first, because I made a homemade onesie, just to tie our girl over until this arrived, but she got out of that one...several times! Once I put this on, she accepted it easily and seemed more content with this over the homemade one. There’s also plenty of room in the back opening, for her to go to the bathroom without it getting in the way.Two tips of advice: 1. Buy two just in case one gets soiled or dirty, so you have a backup; and 2. Consider washing it before putting it on, so the kitty’s skin doesn’t absorb the dyes.I would only dry this on low-heat, or let it air dry...a hand washing and a blow dryer is a quick fix if you’re in a bind and only have one.If you have a persistent cat that is trying to get at the wound (through the onesie), try a non-adhesive sterile bandage on the inside of the onesie, and change it daily to keep the wound clean and free of bacteria. It helps to create an extra amount of padding to keep them from getting at the stitches.I recommend this highly, as it’s much much better than a cone and keeps the kitties from licking at their bellies...and they’re not miserable, and can sleep better, which is really important when the need to heal.

A little big on her, strings coming out, but she attacks it. Overall so grateful for it!
We got this suit because one of our cats has severe allergies and will chew on herself until she bleeds all over her body. We’ve tried her on almost every medication our vet could think of at this point, every specialized food and litter, and are looking at a derm now. In the meantime the steroids stopped working and we wanted something to help our baby so we tried the suit. Unfortunately it is a little big which I think makes it less comfortable for her. She HATES it, like spent the first few days just lying in the ground in it as though it paralyzed her. We would keep her in it for a few hours a day to get her used to it. It’s been weeks and she still hates it and attacks it constantly but we keep it on all the time and thankfully it has really helped her itch less where her skin is covered. Many strings are coming out already due to her attacking I think and having to wash frequently due to little blood stains. I’m just grateful it gave us an option that could work while we figure out how to help her!Update: it fell apart within a few weeks of wear :/
