Q: If the mercury oil filter 35-8m0065104 and the quicksilver 35-8m0065103 are the same filter, why is the mercury filter so much more expensive?

Be cause Mercury has thier name on it, like buying tool you can buy a 10 mm wrench at sears and buy a 10 mm wrench at snapon and the snap on wrench will cost you more
