When we got back to home port I aired it up and a seen was leaking. Never had a chance to use it and Amazon won’t take it back. More and more I’m using other options than Amazon and as this keeps up I’ll do that more.

I purchased four (4) of these for my 53 foot Navigator. I sent them to Miami to be delivered to me in the Caribbean. First, each one was shipped individually even though I bought all four at the same time. Each one arrived in my country individually as well in large packaging which cost me a lot in freight and import duties. After the first 'individual' shipment, I contacted Amazon to ask them to ship the remaining 3 in one package. They stated that they would. Well that never happened. But this was not the manufacturer's fault. Only Amazon's.Well apart from paying a lot in freight and import duties (because I had one invoice from Amazon and not 4 separate invoices), two (2) of the four (4) arrived defective. You inflate them and the day after they deflate. Yes there is a lifetime warranty but I would have to spend money to ship them back to the US plus pay more freight and import duties for the replacements. So I decided to repair them at a tyre repair shop in my country which cost me even more money (we vulcanized them and then placed a large patch over each area for 'safety'). Ugly but effective so far.One of the two had a gash in it and the second had four (4) 'pin' holes. What terrible quality. Unfortunately I would not recommend this product to anyone. My belief is that you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. And this was a big failure in my books.

I bought six of these because I liked the true Navy color. One of them leaked from the beginning, the other started leaking about a year later. I had to send those two back to Taylor made on my own dime, (how many dimes in $21?) Taylor Made says they are shipping out new ones but still waiting on email with tracking info - its been a week and they still haven't shipped after they said they would. I've been using Polyform fenders for the past 20 or so years and never had an issue, I just didn't like the navy blue color of the Polyforms. Should have just stuck with white Polyforms - live and learn.Update: Taylor Made did replace the two leaking fenders, all it cost me was $21 to ship the two bad ones to them first. I'm still not sure I can recommend them.

We have other older versions of this same fender. The new ones are obviously not made to the same high quality specification. Filler valve leaks on both fenders and they lose air rather quickly. Link to Taylor Made support is invalid and will not load.Edit 12/28/18 - After reaching Taylor Made, we were sent new fill nibs and instructions for replacing them in the mail. New nibs made the difference. Fenders are now holding air as they should. Very pleased with customer support.

Bought 5 of these and strung em on 1 rope from one end of my dock to the other. Tied a knot around each bumper to hold them in place and space them properly. Now I don’t have to take bumpers on and off my boat every time we head out onto the lake. I now feel extremely smart and all my friends think I am brilliant. These bumpers are soft on your gel coat but firm in a storm

We had a Taylor Made Big B fender that split and leaked. Why would I give this a 5 star rating when one failed? Because sooner or later, every product fails. It's what happens next that matters. I contacted Taylor Made and put in a warranty claim. NO PROBLEMS!! They shipped me out a new one right away. THESE GUYS STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!! I am buying all new fenders for our yacht, and they will ONLY be Taylor Made Products. I'll never use any other fender. Period.

Perfect dock fender for my 18-foot bowrider. I chose to buy three to provide extra protection along the straight sides of the hull. The black color is great on the lake because it hides all the gross stuff that clings to the fender. My neighbors at the dock have white fenders that sit in the lake all season and they look yucky. My black ones are yukcy too, but at least you can't see it. I took one star off because it seems unreasonable that these cost almost $50 each. I blame Taylor Made for that, not Amazon. Yes, it's cheap insurance against boat damage, but these are just thick vinyl balloons. $25 would be more appropriate... maybe even less.

I have 4 boats and all have Taylor Made fenders, these are the only ones I will use on any boat. They do not get hard in the cooler weather like others made. They are easy to inflate and clean to keep them looking fresh. With the ribs on the side of the fenders, they roll with the motion of the boat. I always use them in a verticle position to get the most protection from the fender, usually 3 on a side work very well. Use a good strong 3/8 - 1/2 inch line to secure the fender to your boat. I always use 1/2 inch. This purchase I bought the 8x20 for my 21 ft center console. Always like to have extra fenders on board.
