Noontec Rio S Earbuds Audiophile Sound Stylish Look Exclusive SCCB Technology Votrik Drivers High Definition Sound Sensitive in line Microphone

So I am coming off of 3 back to back pairs of the Klipsch IMAGE S4’s over the past 5 years. The Noontec Rio S’s have noticeably less bass but I would say over all better sound quality and undoubtedly much better build quality. They sound great, look great, and feel great.But I live in midtown Manhattan and I walk everywhere. I only ride the subway once a week because I live so close to work and everything else, I walk everywhere. My Klipsch IMAGE S4’s would function as total earplugs, even if I wasn’t listening to music. And when talking on the phone it would block almost all the horns, sirens, jack hammers, and beggar’s that are a constant in NYC. I ALWAYS have earbuds in in NYC, even if I’m not listening to music or talking to anyone. The Klipsch IMAGE S4’s were excellent at serving as both great quality earbuds and almost black out quality earplugs.Sadly, the Noontec Rio S’s do not… at all. They let so much street noise in its like I don’t even have anything in my ears! Talking on the phone in loud Manhattan is terrible on these and using them as ear plugs is a joke. Honestly I didn’t know it was possible to be able to hear so much of the world around me with earbuds in until these. Also, they stay in my ears OK but not as well as the Klipsch IMAGE S4’s. This is because of 2 reasons, not as good a design in the ear tips and a much heavier overall design from both the earbuds themselves and the much heavier cord.I’m determined to move on from the Klipsch IMAGE S4’s and find a higher quality replacement but sadly I don’t think these are it. At least not for my lifestyle and needs.

I saw these listed number1 on the rounding sound website for best earbuds under $100! After looking at the reviews on Amazon I decided to purchase these when they were $59.99, because I was looking at the sellers for this,and I knew that the price would go up to $69.99 shortly,so I decided to jump on these sooner than later! They are quite nice looking, I haven't had to fidget with them too much,because they fit perfect in my ear! The more important thing is these have great clarity with an overall well balanced sound when I pair them with one of my different Fiio amplifiers( e6,a1,a3,e12,e12a)!

Selected these earbuds bases on my usual criteria - Prime shipping and the cross of reviews and cost.Nicely packaged and love the carrying case, I'd have preferred the usual rock babe on the box instead of metrosexual looking dude I wouldn't let near my children - but this is just a personal preference.Sound is stunning, took the new Judas Priest release for a spin from my Fiio X5 flac files with a Syba headphone amp in between and they rocked!You get 2 pair of 2 sizes of buds, handy if you lose the pair that fits - they both worked for my ear with the larger pair filling my ear a bit more which made them the better choice to block out background noise.However I mostly got them to use while going on my morning walk around the neighborhood and both pair tend to loosen from the snug fit after only a handful of steps and the slightly smaller pair fall out a few steps later. Couldn't possibly imagine using them while jogging, biking, etc.5 stars for kicking sound quality, minus one star for buds that while snug are not shaped to stay in the ear during even the most basic movement.

First let me say that the sound quality of these earphones was quite good. I enjoyed listening to music with them. Music was very clear with good bass. The problem I had was that the earphones did not stay in my ear very well at all. I could really not tell how they were optimized to better fit the ear canal. This may be because of the fit, but using the best fitting cushions, they kept slipping out of my ears while walking and I had to keep pressing them back in. Another issue I will note, although I would not have returned them solely on this basis, is that the flat cable is very wide, nearly 3/16". I found it to be somehat cumbersome to wear and keep out of the way while walking.

They are very durable. But the fit feels a little strange. I know that the frequencies are supposed to be balanced, but I feel like the bass is on the low side.Edit: After some time with these headphones, I have started to really like them, especially for playing the piano (keyboard). Sound is really nice. I also like that they do not block out sound, so I can use them at work, and know if someone is trying to talk to me.Raising this to 5 stars,

I got a pair of these as a gift last year and loved them, putting them through rigorous daily use as my primary headphones for my iphone, laptop, and iPad. I have more expensive over ear headphones which I use for serious monitoring tasks but for watching media and answering calls, these work fantastically. My only complaint came about 3 months into owning them, when the casing for the right earbud began to separate, exposing the internal wiring. Annoying, but they kept working, so I ignored it. After a month or two of this happening semi-regularly, one of the wires disconnected and the earbud went dead. I contacted Rio customer service about the problem and within 24hrs received a code for a free replacement pair from Amazon. Hoping for better durability with this second pair, but with sound quality on par with earphones costing twice as much and excellent customer service like I've received, I'm still very happy with these earbuds. For $60 you can't expect perfection, and for the price these ar among the best earbuds you'll ever use.

My first pair of non-cheap earphones...i must say these are some awesome earphones! Upon buying them i was worried that they would keep falling out of my ears as someone wrote in the reviews...but it wasn't so. These earphones stay in my ears. I bought them for working out for about 1-2 hours everyday, and so far they have been great and haven't been falling out randomly. They actually stay in my ears, they block out almost all the noise around me, look nice, feel nice and have insane sound quality. Its been over a week now and they are still doing good!!We shall see how it goes from here, if anything ill update this review again.
