This works really well on my strange terrier mix that has 2 or three coats of hair that all grow in different directions. I can't begin to explain how messed up her hair is. I try to shave her once every 2 months but she is a big fan of snow so during what used to be the winter months here but now seem to be a combination of monsoon season and flash freezes I try not to shave her, as it might be cold for an hour, especially any hour it rains and I need to be driving somewhere. So I use this brush on her. Her Doberman faux sibling prefers to attack the brush, barking and growling loudly before tossing it across the room then doing a downward facing dog with butt wiggle pose hoping to encourage it to play. She also has no real amount of shedding to discuss though if i touch her with the brush (i almost said tool, but some states have laws about touching dogs with tools) she wiggles and pretends it is the greatest feeling in the world. Just in case, i tried it on my arms, which resemble those of Robin Williams in his prime, but i had very little shedding and didn't notice any particularly pleasant feeling.

I have a long haired kitty that ingests a lot of her hair while attempting to keep herself clean. I am terrible at keeping up with her brushing, so I decided to get this, which is a little more successful at painlessly removing the unneeded/unattached hair from my kitty.I have used this brush once, and it's easy to use, and the amount of hair that came off after just a couple of minutes of use was staggering. I have never gotten that much hair off with a regular wire pet brush. And the little button on the top makes getting the removed hair off the brush really easy. And the two blades are nice, easy to swap, and the smaller one is perfect for my cat. The larger one would work on most medium dogs, but if you have a huge dog, you probably want something bigger.Since I've used this three or four weeks ago, I haven't had to brush my kitty, and she's not had any hair balls since. I will likely use it every 4 to 6 weeks to keep the loose hair off of her.I've used the Furminator on my dog, and I think this works better.I give this two thumbs up, and my kitty gives it four paws.

I wanted a tool to help reduce the amount of shedding from my 2 cats. They both didn't necessarily want to be brushed with it but they didn't fight me using it thankfully so it must be gentle enough. But, I had to go over some areas multiple times. The fur was hard to be picked up by the brush after it was loose, especially by the thighs. One of my cats is still a kitten he is about 15 weeks old and it was difficult to use on him but that is to be expected. But I do love how you can remove the fur off of the comb with just the press of the button! I would definelty recommend this product to others it does seem to help reduce shedding.

I just received my Deshedding Tool for my Russian Blue mix cat, and tried it out today. I wasn't sure how she would respond, since she is a new addition to our house. Much to my surprise she rolled over and actually allowed me to work on her longer stomach hair. It seems to be very easy to use. I've only used the larger of the two attachments, but already sense that this is a quality tool which will last a long time, and be a pleasure using both for my cat and for me.

This is better than the leading brand from pet smart. Paid over 40$ for one, the "best one" and decided these things don't work. 2 years later as cat hair became too much I decided to try again but didn't want to pay a lot for something that I wasn't sure would work. I bought this based on reviews and was willing to try it...it is bomb! This thing is awesome! We periodically shave our cat during the shedding season....and it still works on very short hair. this was a very good purchase.

If I could only get my doxipoo to hold still, or somewhere close, this deshedding tool would be just what we need. The head comes in two sizes, which is convenient. I need the smaller size for his head and neck area. The larger head allows me to get through his body quicker. Slide a button on the top and the fur is pushed off the blade. Changing heads is easy as well with the push of a button. The body of the tool has grips that help to keep a firm hold. I am pleased with this product. I appreciate the bag that came with it.

the product works well, the only thing I don't like is that the hair does not completely release with the button, you still have to give it a nudge for it to detach from the Waggabee. Our puppy, on the other hand is not a fan, it is very hard for us to groom him, but that could be because we did not start early enough. It will work great for change of the seasons when he changes coats (right now he doesn't shed very much).

Sturdy, easy to clean, and my cat LOVES it. Compared to other pricy products, the performance of this deshedding tool is surprisingly good. This brush costs much less than similar products but works perfectly fine. My cat and I are both very satisfied.
