This roller is the best one I have. Without using corn starch or powder, the clay does not stick. To clean it I just run a paper towel all over.

A good solid roller, that should work well with clay.

Cheap can mean inexpensive or poor quality. So my headline says it all because it is inexpensive, and it's also very poor quality. Every time I've used this roller it "catches" and the roller simply stops rolling. The method this manufacturer used to connect the handle to the roller is "too" simple to be in a kitchen where a lot of baking is done - mine. Washing means taking it apart, cleaning the roller and handle then reassembling. The little "lock" (the piece of metal that flops around on the handle) does nothing of value.I will say the roller portion is smooth...but the fact that it catches all the time on the handle and stops rolling is hardly worth the hassle. Consider a different type - one that has a rod going through the roller.
